This review is for exterior white oak gates and a garage door that we paid $$$ to have John's team…read morerefinish recently. Communication and quote started out great with Dane but the workmanship was lazy and as you can see in the photo did not last at all. I am assuming they only put 2 coats of finish on and didn't prep correctly since all of the finish has already released after only 4 short months. When his team was "complete" I could tell they did not do the job I expected. I asked them to come back out and place one more coat on....which they did but didn't make much difference. I have since refinished myself after spending over $2k for their crappy work. It looks great now.....after a real complete strip and 4 coats of the finish I originally asked for. My advice is do it yourself or go elsewhere.

He has fair pricing, is very good at starting when you need him, and then completing the job. He is very responsive to calls and text messages. He can also do minor stucco repair, minor wall patching and wall paper removal and prepping for paint. I highly recommend.

I paid $5,300 to have my 830-square-foot condo painted, and the crew left paint splatters and spots…read morethroughout the property, including on the floors and countertops. I later hired a professional deep cleaner who confirmed that the paint was everywhere and said she could not get it off. When I asked the painter to return and clean up what his crew had left behind, he refused, blamed the problem on the condo being dirty before they arrived, and handed me a razor blade so I could scrape it off myself and quickly left--not even an apology. The crew initially had my permission to use the air conditioner. However, once my HOA notified me that it was leaking into my downstairs neighbor's unit, she asked the crew to turn it off. They reportedly refused to listen to her and would not help her contact me, potentially allowing further water damage to occur. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of cleanup and accountability afterward was unacceptable. I was left with the distinct impression that because my condo was only 830 square feet--and therefore not one of their larger, more profitable jobs--my concerns were not worth their time once they had been paid. After spending $5,300, I should not have been left hiring another professional to clean up their paint or scraping my own floors and countertops with a razor blade. I would not hire this company again.

Lee's Painting recently painted our home's stucco and wood trim exterior. We've had a lot of…read morepainting done over the years. Here is what set Lee's apart from other paint contractors we have used: 1. They were meticulous, methodical, and thorough in performing each step in their process. 2. The effort they invested up-front in prep surpassed that of every previous contractor we have worked with, and it paid out in a perfect end-result. Before painting, they securely shielded our brick patio, walkways, plants and patio furniture, tied back shrubs and tree branches. They power-washed the wood and stucco, filled all cracks and holes, masked non-painted surfaces, and sanded and primed where needed. 3. They completely and consistently covered every surface with two coats of the premium quality paint that we chose. 4. Although their crew superintendent, Tino, was highly skilled and wonderful to work with, Lee's Painting also sent their project manager and customer service rep to the job site several times to monitor quality and progress and make sure that we were satisfied with the work. 5. They started and completed the job on time and on budget.

Two years ago Travell's company painted our double hung wood windows after they had been repaired and reglazed. The window repairers gave us very specific directions to relay to the painter. When giving his estimate Travell ticked off all of the boxes, he knew what to do. So when it came to paint the exterior, his company was our first choice. The 2 man crew did fantastic prep. They power washed everything, repaired stucco, sanded and primed all of the wood. The windows were covered and they moved the covers so we could open windows in sections they weren't working. They then used a roller for some of the surfaces and used a sprayer for the rest. After they were done, the house was beautiful and everything was cleaned up. Travell checked on the crew and was always available to answer questions.

Krystal was so attentive and answered all my questions. She helped me with aesthetics, and followed through on my every ask with such patience (also dealing my endless phone calls haha). But now, it's clean, bright and airy, and everything I could have hoped for. I'm so thankful I found them and am always happy to support small, local business. I would recommend BBP for any project, ask for Krystal! She's amazing and so committed to providing quality, 5-star results. Thanks again, Krystal and crew!! Scheduling a time for Leonel to come out and look at the project was simple, and he immediately understood exactly what we wanted done. The biggest transformation was our bonus room, where they created a new, darker stain for the bookcase and ceiling beams, and then painted the wood-paneled walls. I included an image below that shows the transformation.
