Some of the election pins are fun, but not sure what's authentic or not. The KFC displays are a cool walk through history. The Barbie's from the 60-70 era were a throwback. (Well, plus much, MUCH more!) I'm especially fond of the Red Wing cookie jar that I found for my dad here a couple of months back -- it's just like the one he grew up with and then accidentally broke in a move back in the late Eighties. (And yes, it tickled him to receive it as a gift so many years later.) The parking is good, but not exactly what I'd call generous. (I don't remember the last time that I was unable to find a parking space within twenty steps of the door, though, so no big whoop.) The warehouse is owned and operated by a small cooperative of local dealers, and the selection is both diverse and fun. Five Yelp stars!

I recommend utilizing the delivery service they offer. The stock trends towards euro type baroque gilt items. There is an explicit focus on heavier old style items, although they will also have smaller home decor stuff and the occasional statute as well. Despite the name there are not a lot of true antiques, but a lot of collectible/replica items. This is a smaller store and the casual browse will take 15-30 minutes which translates to about an hour for the truly obsessed. Pricing is on the higher side of things. While the smaller decor type ticky tacky can run in the 20 to 50 dollar range buying the furniture can get you into multiple thousands of dollars. They do offer a delivery service which makes it all the easier for you to get your new 3500 dollar set home. All in all it's a decent spot for more unusual furniture and home decor items around.

So this place was an exciting find as our first stop on this adventure even though I've never appreciated any antiques before. The store is much bigger than I anticipated and has so many corners branching off to an array of eye boggling gems all very well displayed in a marvellously organised chaos. I was not raised in the US but I can see bits of my childhood in England in quite a number of items. There are endless cool stuff, from retro kitchenwares to toys, furnitures, gardening gadgets, and even clothes! Prices are surprisingly reasonable too! There were a couple of pieces of furnitures we especially loved but they were marked as "sold" so I guess we need to drop by and take a gander at new inventory every once in while. If you love antiques, or even if you don't love antiques like me but curious to just browse, this is the place to head to. The husband picked up a couple of LPs and he was pretty chuffed! You can easily lose an hour or two just leafing through their eclectic collections. I wasn't going to yelp about it initially and only took one picture of a display I found interesting.
