I picked up a mini peanut butter pie and an item listed on their menu as a "chewy chocolate chip" treat, paying around $7 apiece. Unfortunately, neither hit the mark. The peanut butter pie was just okay--it lacked rich peanut butter flavor and fell far short of expectations. The "chewy" chocolate chip treat was completely inedible. There was zero chew to it; it was rock-hard. A fork wouldn't pierce it, smacking it on the counter didn't budge it, and even sawing at it with a serrated knife did nothing. It was basically an expensive paperweight that went straight into the trash (I'm posting a video on Yelp so people can see for themselves). The only reason this is getting two stars instead of one is because the girl working the counter was genuinely sweet and friendly. Aside from the service, the treats were a major letdown, and I'll be sticking to Bush's for my peanut butter pie fix.

We used to get only 1 dozen but I've never made it back to Cali without at least one passenger bartering for a few.. it's become a thing! fresh, buttery rolls on a plane is the adult equivalent to getting to stop at McDonald's for a Happy Meal on the way back to school from a doctors appointment; you're literally king for the day! My favorite barter-to-date is a few visits ago when our group was all separated on the plane. The ladies I was sitting next to ordered me a buffalo chicken wrap and a mimosa in exchange for a dozen of my precious dinner rolls ‍ Long story long, Honeybee's has not only made my visits to Tennessee even more special, they've pulled off making the long flight home fun too! I am for sure a lifelong fan!!! I'm so happy Honeybee's was able to not only survive during the pandemic, but become exceedingly popular!
