As soon as I was greeted, I felt as though I mattered, and that he genuinely cared about my needs as well as what I was looking for in a mattress. He guided me through the showroom between models in a very relaxed and professional manner. It did not feel pressured or uncomfortable at all, even when I said I would have to think about it- but then returned that same day to buy one of the mattresses I was shown. Luckily I got the last one he had in the back and it was even on sale at a great price. I would have paid close to four times that amount had I gone to OMF. A friend of mine recommended that I go here and I'm glad I did. After buying the mattress, Joey had arranged his guys to make delivery to my house (I only live about a mile up the road from the store) and even arranged for them to give me a ride home too! Turns out not only are the owners father and son but the delivery guys are a father and son team as well. All very nice people. Could not have been more satisfied with the whole experience. The mattress is incredible, too, by the way.

Misleading Return Policy and Poor Communication…read more I visited this store to try out several online mattress brands. The owner was helpful and recommended the blue Winkbed model as the best option among the ones I was considering. I specifically asked if I could return the mattress after the 30-day trial period, and I was told yes. Inside the mattress box were marketing materials from the manufacturer clearly stating a "no-hassle 30-day free return policy." After 30 days, I contacted the store to initiate a return. The employee who answered couldn't help, so I called the number listed on their website under "Contact Us." I was then told that only the white Winkbed model was eligible for a full refund--not the blue model I purchased. This specific detail was not disclosed at the time of sale, despite my direct question. In fact, the owner discouraged me from buying the white model due to quality concerns. The paperwork stated, "reselection only," which I was told was added for transparency--but that term is vague. Why not just call it what it is: an exchange? To make matters worse, the owner commented that I had reached his personal line on his day off. How are customers supposed to know your schedule? And if you don't want to be contacted on a personal line, why list it on your website? Ultimately, I was allowed to return the mattress, but I had to pay nearly $700 plus a $70 pickup fee. Overall, very confusing and I felt misled and disappointed. The store did not honor the manufacturer's return policy and relied on unclear paperwork instead of honest communication. Buyer beware: Don't fall for flashy mattress brands that spend heavily on advertising. If you want quality and transparency, purchase from a manufacturer with a long history in the industry who produces mattresses that are not compressed in a box. You're better off going straight to the source or choosing a local company like Original Mattress Factory. I wish I had and saved myself money and stress.

We had braced ourselves for a long day possibly full of disagreements and detailed discussions about things like firmness, brand, financing, delivery, etc. OMF was the first and only place we went -- and we walked out the door happy within about 15 minutes, total, our new mattress delivered and set up and ready to be slept on in less than a week. Ryan, the store manager, was a delight to work with, giving us all the info we needed but never upselling us or pressuring us. He answered all of our questions, anticipated some that we didn't think to ask, and left us to make our own decision without a watchful sales eye (I hate when places keep an eagle eye on you while you try to figure things out!) I loved that they don't have a TON of mattresses to choose from -- just a few, locally made, on a firmness scale so that you can easily determine which ones you think you want to try and which ones not to bother with. We went with the second firmest option, with the springs, and a frame without a headboard (though Ryan let us know that they can pretty easily be attached later, if we want to buy one from OMF or elsewhere). Our mattress and bed were delivered the next weekend. Communication was easy and helpful, and the guys who made the delivery were speedy and skilled, navigating our narrow staircase without a single ding or dent in the walls. Our new bed is SO COMFORTABLE, & we absolutely adore it. Can't recommend OMF highly enough!
