Visited the office for my appointment and had to wait 45 minutes because they overbook appointments so they make u wait like cattle. Doctor determined I had plantar fasciitis and said I needed prescription orthoses. The receptionist told me that she will call me to let me know what my portion of the bill will be after insurance notifies her if they will pay. The orthoses cost $600 and the insurance paid $400. She never called me to authorize my portion of the payment. So I was shocked when I picked them up she asked me for the $200. I had no choice but to pay. You can get the same orthoses from Dr. Scholl's kiosk in bed, bath and beyond for $50.00. read more
