I ordered a pair of shoes from Notabene in early December. When they arrived, it was immediately clear that they had been worn. The soles were dirty and the toes were visibly creased. I contacted customer support and provided photos of the wear. Their response was that the shoes were new and that by placing an order I had agreed to the possibility of receiving shoes that had been tried on. This explanation does not align with the condition of the shoes I received, the wear was far beyond what could reasonably be described as having been "tried on."
I have now been attempting to return the damaged shoes for over two weeks, but customer service has stopped responding to my follow-up emails. If everything goes smoothly and no customer support is required, purchasing from Notabene may be a pleasant experience. However, if an issue arises, the lack of responsiveness and accountability makes the experience extremely frustrating. read more
