I am still trying to fully wrap my brain around this promotion. Even with the 50% sale and taking 2 separate days to walk around the store i was only able to come up with a handful of items that i would buy. Not necessarily because of the price but rather i just didn't think most of what they had was worth buying. There were some items that i thought the prices were just way too high but not really many of them. Not a great spot for a store, i wish them the best but probably wouldn't make a special trip out here any time soon, especially if they aren't running their 50% off sale.

Antique glassware, pottery, tools, furniture, lamps, artwork, toys, jewelry and so much more- you can outfit your house from top to bottom. Wicked good prices & happy owners who are the best in the business. If you leave empty handed you didn't look hard enough. The ancient old building is the perfect setting for exploring. I've been buying here for a decade plus- I've bought pieces in there I've never seen anywhere else. Old fashioned shopping without the sticker shock and stuffiness you get at all the other so called ANTIQUE SHOPS. You will leave with a smile & a truck full of great stuff.

I can't praise this business enough. We called ahead to let them know we would be by. We were…read morepleasantly surprised by the property as it was a historic home and barn on beautiful land, with a country feel...wildflowers.. And rolling hills. The ladies were very kind and welcoming. We wandered thru the room in the home with many beautiful pieces. Prices were very fair and items were well organized. I immediately found a few pieces of jewelry that spoke to me.... They were able to answer my question about what stone was in my chosen bracelet And where it had come from..And asked them if I could set them aside so we could venture into the large barn and the many bins outside. The bins were .25¢ for each item..and my husband and I found several for our collection. Smaller items...but rare. The barn was very busy with many items to look at, several pieces we had never seen in other shops/locations. We brought our flashlights (as recommended here in another review) but there were motion lights set up which were helpful. The basement was dark... And we anticipated spiders and rodents.. But only came across rodent droppings ..some answer spiders and a good sized toad that startled my husband :)...But for a barn, it was full of history and very interesting.. just to walk around and look at the architecture...(if you realy like buying antiques you should also develope an appreciation of where they came from..including the homes, barns, familes. And structures that still hold up today. We had a nice talk with the ladies after purchasing our items (20% off by the way!!) They answered our questions about the age of the home and kindly asked us about ourselves, our chosen careers, and where we are from. We liked them very much. I highly recommend visiting them if in the are or looking for a road trip.. Easy to find with or without GPS. Good parking. I recommended just taking in the view of the home as it is absolutely beautiful..and property....

This place is, quite literally, a barn full of old stuff. A lot of it is junk (Reader's Digest…read morecompilations from the 1970s, etc.) but there are some great finds, too - maps, nineteenth-century novels, old photos, a working slide projector, etc. It can get pretty hot in summer and the lights aren't working throughout the barn - bring a flashlight, because you're going to want to venture into the small side rooms, up the stairs to the chair loft, and (if you're feeling brave) up the ladder into the book loft. The barn also has a basement accessible by walking around the barn, and slightly more fancy stuff is in the house, which is also where you go to pay. Prices are the definition of reasonable and up for negotiation. There's a pretty sharp turn-off to reach the store, so it can be easy to miss. Keep your eyes peeled!

I bought a lovely vintage Keene Cracker box (I like local history), and also a stoneware container I plan to use for my paint brushes. The owner knew all the history of what I was purchasing, and was more than glad to talk about anything in the store. Or just where you are from and what you like to collect. NOT a store for tiny hands, but for adults, a store full of things you won't find elsewhere. Also, small budget, unlike many fancy antique shops, you'll find a welcome here no matter if you are buying something inexpensive or pricy. The owner WELCOMES you into the store, not "Do you really KNOW ANTIQUES?" (he's glad to help educate you). I've never spent so little, and been treated SO WELL, in an antique shop. Also incredible vintage art in frames to die for, at incredible prices. The frames alone were worth more than being asked. (Have you framed something new lately?) Plan to go BACK and get myself a painting in a beautiful vintage frame for my birthday!

Omg this place is amazing! There is so much stuff to be looked at!…read more First off, this place is great to support a local business and not those Salvation Army and Good Will Stores. More packed here than any of those other places. I was (and still am) a bit confused... I guess the whole building is known as "Tilton & Cook Market Place" but each floor is a different owner.. or rather it's a business that rents out space to vintage/thrift stores. On the first floor I was told there were 5 different owners, but it's really hard to figure out whose stuff is whose and if you're entering another "store". Just remember where you got stuff. There is also a place to eat and relax on the first floor which is pretty cute, but I didn't look at the menu cause I wasn't hungry. People there were pretty nice. You really have to go digging around here (or in some areas). I was only able to get to the second floor... I think I was there for about 2hrs... there is just so much stuff! (I didn't even finish the second floor). From my understanding, each floor is its own "shop" (except for the first floor). But no one seems to have their own name... just "Tilton & Cook Market Place" or "Tilton & Cook Corp". Make sure to bring lots of cash... no one in the building can take credit/debit. And at last, the days and hours for these shops are all the same. I could be wrong on a few things here, but this is all what I gathered and understood. Im definitely gonna have to return. Such a great find!
