I think I've tried every food delivery service out there and Sweetpea + Thyme is as good as it gets. Every single meal I've had from Lizzie & Jen's kitchen the past 6 months has been so tasty. The lowdown on how it works: The Friday before: - Lizzie sends an email w/ the menu for the following week (one choice per day: Monday-Thursday). She will also work with any dietary restrictions. - I reply to the email w/ the days we'll be getting food. We typically order for 3 nights/week, which we end up eating all week long (lunches included). - Lizzie emails heat up instructions that even those of us who can't make eggs can handle The day of: 4pm: Lizzie shows up with a bag full of amazing food 6:30-8:30pm: My husband and I negotiate with (and sometimes threaten) 3 children to go to bed 8:30pm: We're hungry and exhausted after a long day of work and negotiating with our children, but we spend a few min heating up the meal 8:40pm: We eat too much of an amazing, but somewhat healthy meal...and sing Lizzie & Jen praises. --- I often bring the leftovers to work and somehow they taste even better (if possible) for lunch the next day. And worse than that, the spice has a super weird flavor that is not at all what Thai spice is like, the fried tofu portion I got was comically absurd and it was also diced up into tiny little pieces, and their pad Thai sauce is meh. So like literally every element was subpar at best and absolutely atrocious at worst, and this is like a staple dish.
