Amazing group of ladies! I am in town for almost 2 months,…read moreI was so accommodated by this group of ladies from the first contact to my final visit today . Loretta was my hairstylist, I received a wonderful color with highlights and several blowouts w/ her during my time in Key Largo. I witnessed all of the ladies work and their clients results, never saw anything to make me hesitate having any of them work on my hair.... BTW I'm very picky and own salons in my home town... so that says it all. Call and make your appointment you won't be disappointed at all, tell them Sandy said hi

Loved the shampoo experience as well as the product, cut and blow dry. Salon is spotless! Loved that not only is there no hair left over from previous cuts, but Tiffany swept up my hair before she blowed dry, so as to "Not blow hair all over the salon". Salon is cute and updated as well. They offer other services such as nails and skin care and massage. Thank you Tiffany! I'll be back!

I am SO thankful I found Melissa at Green House Salon. My…read morehair desperately needed color and my stylist in NC had to cancel before I left for vacation so I found myself looking quite drab and in need of color and highlights for our first trip to the Keys. I was nervous choosing someone after only looking at photos and reviews on Yelp but after the owner, Melissa was kind enough to make time for me in her already booked schedule and seemed as excited as I was to give me a new look I knew I had made the right choice. I had chosen a photo I loved from her website which happened to be one of the more involved processes - Bayalage and takes quite a bit longer. She came in early and spent over half a day giving me the look I had dreamed of and even did an extra treatment on my hair to keep it from getting too dry since I already had color and went blonder. I love Aveda, and while you sometimes pay a little bit more at an Aveda salon, I think it is 100% worth it. I left feeling like a movie star with my silky blowout and natural highlights. I also love that Green House is a smaller salon, more intimate setting and in a beautiful location. You can even stroll to view the beach while you are processing. I got to see the plans for the upcoming renovations and can't wait to go back to see the new zen look of the space. Thank you Melissa for making me feel like a customer you had had for years. You are a wonderful colorist, a beautiful person inside and out. I will definitely plan my next keys vacation around an appointment at Green House Salon! Kay Myers Winston Salem, NC

I have been going to Mara (the owner of the Vanity Room) for about ten years. I drive all the way…read moredown to Tavernier from Miami, which should say something, because Mara is the only person who consistently gives me the hair I want without frying my hair. Occasionally I have gotten frustrated with the long drive and have tried going to someone else closer to home, and inevitably, I end up back in Mara's chair. Mara is truly an artist, and is realistic about explaining any limitations to what can be accomplished. I feel that I can always trust her completely to be honest if I'm asking her to do something that either won't look good or won't be good for my hair. I have very dark brown hair naturally, and Mara is able to make me a blonde without frying my hair the way other salons have when I've "cheated" on her, and I always thoroughly enjoy my time with her, because, bonus, she's hilarious! The decor of the salon chic and comfy. As far as the only other review here, I find the details very difficult to believe. Mara is a consummate professional, and the idea that she would physically threaten someone (p.s. she is under 5' tall and petite doesn't even cover it) seems completely unbelievable.
