I highly recommend Ridge Roofing if you are looking for an honest roofing company in our area.

They tore down, repaired dry rot, installed pipe jacks, and placed the shingles precisely. And they cleaned up every speck of debris. The roof is beautiful. The color matches our main house exactly, even though that roof was done by a different company. Baird's crews are hardworking, conscientious, and good at what they do. Baird works with a company that comes in with a heavy-duty forklift to haul materials to the workers. Roberto came by the evening before to plan logistics and morning of to oversee the forklift operation. All this is to say they are true professionals who take pride in their work. We recommend!

The roof is out of warranty, of course, but since the first day of a series of heavy rain just started---they got here today, identified a seal that needed touch up, and touched up all the roof vent seals for good measure, in less than thirty minutes. Total pros and the two workman were very nice. Can't ask for more and now they are top of our list for a planned bathroom remodel project.

I would not recommend Mat. My husband and I had a disappointing and frustrating experience with him…read morethat lasted a year and a half. We purchased our home and were searching for a contractor to review items that were addressed in our home inspection. I reached out to a local designer for recommendations and she recommended Mat. He said he was unavailable to help with the items on our list but gave recommendations of businesses who could help, such as Miller Glass. No problem... the trouble started six months later. We reached out to him in January of 2025 asking if he had time to help us build a wall in our entryway sometime that year. He said yes, came over to look at our space, and charged us $100. Since then, he has done barely anything and it is now August of 2026. He has had a couple of conversations with us, said he would come back over for final measurements but never did, sent us a couple of AI rendered photos, claimed he was discussing with his door supplier, changed his business email without telling us so we had to dig for it months later after he disappeared (which he does for months at a time). He quoted $10,000 and said it could go up to $15,000. We told him we budgeted $15,000 but to let us know if the costs would be higher... we weren't fighting him on costs. We were kind and incredibly patient. We were hoping to find someone who could ultimately help us with renovating a kitchen and two bathrooms. We were willing to wait for a quality contractor, but I am appalled at the poor service we have received. Stringing us along for over a year and a half is unacceptable and unprofessional. If he hadn't been recommended by the designer, I would think he was scamming people with fake consults. I'd look elsewhere if you value your time. I feel like a bit of a fool for wasting so much of mine.

They all came out and looked at our roof and gave us quotes. The quotes ranged from a low of $22,000 up to over $50,000. We then contacted Chico Roofing Company because we had 2 different friends recommend them. The salesperson (Cal) came out and was professional, personable and not pushy. He explained the roof replacement process explaining the different layers and product to be used. He then reviewed with us the warranty of the roof itself and of the workmanship. 50 years on the roof and 25 years on the workmanship. Their quote was less than $25,000 and when you take in the warranty factor it was by far the best deal. We signed on with them and they did a great job. The attention to detail of the crew and of their Foreman (Jessie) was top notch. Bill, the owner stopped by to check on the crew as well as to see if we had any questions on numerous occasions throughout the process. I've mentioned it to the crew and to friends that corners are not cut to save time when you warranty the craftmanship for 25 years. I would highly recommend Chico Roofing and Chico Solar to anyone interested in quality from ownership down. Dave R
