The service was friendly and the staff were enthusiastic to help me. The downstairs level has a great assortment of homewares, souvenirs, and local food items. We bought a few jams from a local Vermont company for ourselves and as gifts for family members. I loved the large selection and spent a good 30 mins browsing. Very enjoyable experience and atmosphere. The store has sampling stations throughout so you can taste the products before purchasing. I also enjoyed the fun photo opportunity in store. They had an old ski lift car you could sit in for pics.

Scott's great! ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Saturday morning, while our son did homework in the room, while my wonderful wife was exercising, our daughter and I explored North Conway, NH. While walking around we saw some shirts in the window and went into Noco Loco. By time we walked out we had found some awesome t-shirts and long-sleeve t-shirts for everyone - with something related to a moose on each one (continuing our collection that started in Yellowstone and Michigan's Upper Peninsula)! Our daughter found a hoodie sweatshirt and some sweatpants that she really likes. They also have magnets and other things celebrating the north woods of New Hampshire. Scott was a great help, who also informed us that, to preserve the colors in the clothes, we need to wash them a) inside-out, b) in cold water, and c) don't put them in the dryer. Whilst everyone here has been SUPER friendly so far, I'd give it to the staff here as being *the* friendliest, chirpiest, and nicest people I've come across during this visit. It's obvious that there is excitement in the air due to the sheer number of people visiting as well as the once-in-a-lifetime event *in* this particular area BUT you've got to give to them for showing it in the sweetest way possible. They carry quite a bit of trinkets and locally made goods and make some of their own as well. I just wanted something simple to commemorate this visit and left with a bag they made for the eclipse, a sticker, and as always, a fridge magnet to add to the collection. You know how you always say "I wish I'd said....."? I really wish I'd ask the person behind the counter if she/they were having problems. She/they were so incredibly unfriendly and almost flat out rude. I kept thanking her, when she really should have thanked me. Love Capitol Stationers but, three hours later and now home, and I'm still thinking about the absolutely poor customer service. A few minutes after that visit, I was in Roam, and had the absolute BEST time interacting with three staff members. Yes, I bought more than I should have, but the customer service was the best I've witnessed in a long time. Business owners: train your staff!!! And, if this staff member was an owner, shame on you.
