Absolutely excellent service. We've used Daniel and Northwoods Nerds several times - once for a complete home computer overhaul, today for a problem with syncing, once with a laptop with a dangerously bulging battery, etc. Each time, our concerns were resolved in the most efficient and expert manner. Daniel is also personable - and his explanations make sense to us - and we are NOT techy. Thank you Daniel. We're glad your business is growing and successful. Well deserved success. Highly recommended. read more

Wow. Dan at Northwoods Nerds LLC is awesome. Prompt response, professional communication before, during, and after his service. Using Northwoods Nerds saved me time and money. Dan was able to diagnose my computer issue, had the necessary parts in stock, and was able to complete the repair in the time frame he quoted. I've been dealing with computers and software for 30+ years, Dan is the first technician to deliver what he promised - on time and on budget. Thanks Dan for the outstanding service. read more

For too long, small and mid-market businesses have been forced to settle for reactive "break-fix" IT guys or faceless, national call centers that nickel-and-dime every support ticket. Under the leadership of founder Luciana Coombs, we built an independent, proudly Wisconsin-based Managed Services Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering enterprise-grade security, comprehensive infrastructure support, and strategic IT leadership. We Don't Have Clients. We Have Partners. At Skafos IT Consulting, we view your success as our success. We don't just want to be the vendor you call when a printer breaks; we act as your dedicated Fractional CTO and technology partner. When you partner with us, we sit on your side of the table. We learn your business processes, audit your risks, and build a 3-year technology roadmap that aligns with your revenue goals. We succeed when your operations run flawlessly, which is why we utilize a flat-fee, outcome-based pricing model. No surprise invoices, no hidden project fees—just reliable, secure, and predictable IT. Managed IT Services Stop managing technology. Start leveraging it. Most MSPs sell you support tickets. We deliver operational excellence.

Everything about this experience has been outstanding and, in my opinion, unbeatable. Because…read moreRhinelander is a rather small city, there are not as many clock repair shops available as in Milwaukee, for example. I found this company by researching on the Internet. My request was, I think, a bit unusual: a friend, who had taken our grandfather clock apart and had taken the parts out of state to a repair shop where he lives, was unable to come back to the Rhinelander area to put the clock back together. I thus contacted Stacy, the owner of this wonderful shop, and told him of my situation; I then asked for his (hopeful) help in putting this clock back together. Despite having a very crowded schedule and a very wide-ranging territory, Stacy was able to fit me into his schedule. When Stacy arrived at our home, he immediately went to work on the clock, explaining every step to me and highlighting the details of this clock's manufacture. The depth and breadth of his experience are amazing. Further, Stacy treated this clock as if it were his own. Just as important, he was very patient, kind, and friendly with me, his client. Stacy's price was very reasonable, particularly considering his knowledge and experience. I wish we had more clocks to repair - Stacy is THAT good. He may do a bit of work on watches, but I'm not completely sure about that. I cannot say enough good things about Stacy. If/When we have any clock (or maybe watch) repairs that need to be done - and done correctly the first time - we're taking those items to Stacy, to the Wind Me Up Clock Shop in Rhinelander - and nowhere else. If/When the time comes that we need a new clock, we're also going only to him. Stacy mentioned that his wife had urged him to go into the clock repair profession full-time; after an extended period of time, he did that. I am thankful that he acted on her guidance. Thank you both for being such talented, kind, and friendly professionals and good people.
