Total scam! Waste of time and money! Instructors don't care they are only there to get a paycheck! Class is suppose to be 4 hours long BUT, they give 2 20 minute breaks, why? I graduated here, complete waist of $17,000. Yeah you'll find a job right out of here but it will be $18/hr tops which is what a lot of companies are starting at anyway. Every interview I went to after here offered $15 starting pay. Almost all HVAC companies will hire and train anyone, you dont need to waist $17,000 here. All the classes are expedited and you don't have time to actually learn anything. Mcdonalds and almost every other company now pays more than HVAC. The only way to make money is to own a company and you still have to work 3 years underneath someone for a mechanical license. Just apply for a job in HVAC. This school is a complete scam. read more

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ENROLLING This review has been a long time coming, My brother and I went to the school a little over 10 years ago. I ended up dropping out 4 months after finding out from instructors that this place was only preparing you for an apprentice job at a heating and cooling place. There was no way you will learn enough from this place to go off and become successful. I dropped out so I didn't have to pay the Full tuition. 4K Which I just finished paying off. My brother stayed the full 10 months and graduated. He learned absolutely nothing, still owes 10k in student loans. Stay away from this place, Your better applying at a heating and cooling place and asking them to train you without pay! This is my opinion! And this place was definitely a regret. Paid $17,000 to get fully certified here all the licenses even universal certified the first time i took the test i passed it i graduated with a 4.0 gpa the school cant find you no job all lies i finished in july they have yet to find me a single place for a job unless you want to go get paid $12 an hour to be an installer and only make 14,000 a year yeah what a living that is let me tell you you have to ration ramon noodles what the f**k kinda BS i regret wasting my money with this school i regret attending waste of time read more

I attended here 2008-2009 and it was a disappointing experience. 1) The price of school did not include tools, books and supplies. 2) to much book work Training we didn't do any "live installations" 3) Job Placement sucks. I took out large loans to go to Northwestern and now I have loan repayments and no job to pay them off. Also all of the more known HVAC outfits won"t hire me because of lack of experience. read more

Good luck if u are stuck on a lab assignment. I received no help from the fellow students in my group. If u fall behind. Good luck. They will not help you unless u are ahead or farther ahead than they are. Then u are directed to 2 other helpers(graduates,by the way.) who are supposed to help you. But asking too many questions what to do next gets you a response to "figure it out" and "im not doing your work for you." I completed only 3 days and i find myself terrified to ask for help cuz i felt like i got nowhere and have to ask for tutoring or i find myself dropping the class by the end of the 2nd week. Its doesnt help me either that the classroom is oversized. Lets say "overcrowded." I need to find another school now with a smaller class size and people that will help me. Enrolled into the school with the understanding that I would be doing labs and hands on training on a daily basis. That is not reality, I feel the school try's to get you in and out as fast as possible. In every class you get 5 weeks. EVERY SINGLE teacher says they really need at least 10 weeks per class to properly train you. I really wanted this to work out. I invest 4 hours 4days a week into this program.
