In my opinion, TC Naz is not the most education forward or highly-organized facility, but I can say the care for the kids comes first. It turned into the worst experience we have ever had with childcare. Starting with most of the staff. When I dropped off my infant son in the mornings, most of the time the main teacher kept her back to me, did not greet me or my son. Not a nice way for my baby to start his day! She is anything but maternal and friendly, as an infant teacher should be. As a whole, they are very understaffed and I could sense the stress it caused and saw it in the lack of good care my children were getting. I had both of my kids enrolled there and they rarely brought home artwork. The "preschool" is really more of a babysitting gig. Except for a couple of very good teachers there, most of them just sit around, not interacting with the kids, not seeming to like their jobs, disengaged and not trying to get to know the children or entertain them. The WORST part of the whole experience was the fact that my three year old daughter was physically bullied by a five year old girl in her class. Yes, they have a five year old in class with three year olds. There were three instances of physical attacks on my daughter. The school did not take it seriously or do what they said they would do to protect my daughter. We met with the Preschool Committee because the Director was especially useless and truly only defended the bully. And not only that but the teachers and the Director Jim also started to retaliate against my three year old! Writing up notes about if she took a toy from another child, or raised her voice! When I never even received a documented note about the time the five year old bully bent my daughter's finger back so far that it caused her pain, and it was intentional! I was shocked. But I was even more shocked when during the meeting with the Preschool Committee, one of the "christian" gentleman on the committee who was seated directly across the table from me lost his temper and stood up quickly, leaned as close as he could get to me, slammed his hand down on the table SO loud, and shouted at me. I was horrified and scared for my own safety. The Director was seated right there and I immediately asked if that behavior is acceptable and he just shrugged. I pressed him for an answer and he only said "I can't speak for him." These are supposed to be Christians. These are the members of the Preschool Committee! I could go on and on but I will stop there. Avoid this center at all costs. They are cheap, and it's for a reason. Crap care for your kids. Pay more and send your kids to a center when they will actually be nurtured, learn, and be kept safe. My children did not receive that level of care here at Tipp City Church of the Nazarene Preschool. I have careful documentation of all my allegations here to back up each claim. This all happened about a month ago, so I have had time to cool down from being angry and this review is written solely out of my concern to prevent other children and families from ending up in a nightmare like what we experienced.

Let me start with on my daughter plays girls basketball she is on junior varsity, sits in University, I'm achieved in helps referee melamentary game. last night on 1 22 24 they had a game against Bath. before the first quarter was even over my daughter Dakota collided with a girl from the other team and the girl come down and landed on Her. she wasn't a screeching pain, her leg and he hurt so bad she couldn't even bend her leg straight, they had to stop the It's game for a moment. And this is where you'll you'll see that the staff there is phenomenal.. her coach was Liz Martin, coach, friend, mentor And just all around genuinely good People, First thing she did was run out on the court check to make sure Dakota was okay gave her a big old hug and had tears that she really cares about her team.. I couldn't show gratitude appreciation enough for what these people did after that. OK after getting to the side line getting checked out by the athletic director And everything else everything else that had to be done To see if Dakota needed medical attention just to my or she will be okay you back on the game maybe next quarter or something. Well device device principle mister overly this guy is an angel amongst demons. it's they just don't make people like this anymore they decided that the code needed to go to the hospital it was pretty bad she's kind of iffy about Riding in ambulances. So here we got a 14 year old teenage girl that is in complete spazz mode, And me and my wife was not able to be at the game To calm her down. Her teammates, Coach martin, And I believe coach Jacobs was there and what she said, And the vice principle mister overly, They got a hold on my wife and between everybody they got her to calm down and mister overly took it upon himself and his own vehicle to take My daughter Dakota that is an excruciating pain And drive her and his own vehicle all the way to Sydney Ohio where I was at to the hospital there so we could get it taken care of us. I don't know about everybody else that just says a lot to me and I am forever indebted to these people I will show appreciation any chance I get I will go above and beyond just as they did for my daughter if needed and To me that says Volumes. So , From the deepest part of my heart, with every Fiber of my being,I truly and sindearly thank you guys a million times over. may God bless you and every step of your future endeavors and bringing nothing but the best for everyone do guys. I can't thank you enough. it turned out that she has a fractured tibula Plato and The darn girl It is way more upset that she's not going to be able to play the last 4 games of the season than She is about her fractured knee bone and possible surgeries to come.. I just think it's phenomenal that a community comes together like that , Her team especially a couple of few of her teammates Cora Savannah you don't want to like that that couldn't sleep last night because they were so worried about it understand one of you and brought the rest of her stuff home when we got home tour from the game and people's writing paragraphs and half books on text messages just to let her know that they support her and they're so sad that you know she's hurt and it just shows that there's still a lot of love left in the community here and saint Paris thank you guys so much. Dakota is a very strong willed and determined young lady with an exuberant amount of passion and ambition...this is just a minor set back for a major come back.. Her perseverance and resilience is something to be envied By all. She's a firm believer that You do t have to be great to start But you have to start to be great... I had the chance to visit wittenburg university over the weekend, I have to say.. what a pretty…read morecampus. I enjoyed walking around and checking out all the buildings and learning about the history of the school and the very interesting traditions that the students keep alive . Wally Witt and streaking the hollow that's all I'll say about that. The surrounding houses are beautiful as well, I was impressed at the set up that they have for upper class men. The historical look of the houses as well are a look back at what middle America used to be, The student population seemed really friendly as well, all seemed welcome at different social events. There is an active Greek life, which is awesome if used in the right way, and apparently some secret societies? Last but not least the on campus bar was fun to swing by, and you can't beat the prices! I would send a kid to this school if I had one. Go tigers!

My children have been in daycare most of their lives. We spent three years at one school and three…read moreat another. We only changed because our old daycare couldn't accommodate new school hours. BCLC was a disaster from the start. My older child recognized one woman from his school and expressed his dislike for her. He's always cheerful and likes pretty much everyone, but was frustrated because he had not liked her as a substitute. I could soon see why. She always seemed frantic and hectic with a frenzied voice. It was easy to see she was impatient and stressed--not good characteristics for being around children. No wonder my extroverted child had noticed something wrong. My introverted child who doesn't like crowds hated the school from the start, and I couldn't figure out why, but I was soon getting calls from the frantic/stressed woman several days a week because she couldn't deal with him. Apparently, her high strung behavior was not a good match. I'd never gotten a call from a daycare to pick up my child before, but suddenly she was throwing fits several times a week. The tone of voice in the voice mails she left was hysterical. My child reported to me that when she got frustrated, she grabbed and pinched his arms really hard and that it hurt. I took photos of the red marks around his wrist. She can't contain herself and can't keep herself from arguing with a six year old who is small for his age...which is NOT okay in a business where one works with kids. Even when she wasn't fighting with my child, every time I saw her or had to interact with her, it was obvious she was rushed and not handling stress well. I am very concerned about a daycare where the frantic/stressed adult fights and argues and cannot be patient with children. The adult should be in charge, and clearly this woman was not. The woman we met when we first started was only there a brief time before suddenly I heard a different director name. I have no idea what is going on there, but they have management issues, and apparently hired a frantic person who didn't work out as a substitute teacher elsewhere. I need to be able to go to work--not take daily calls from a teacher who can't deal with small children. We hadn't had problems with childcare before, and I suspect we won't again. The frantic woman needs to see a therapist to help her de-stress.

Beavercreek Christian Learning Center (BCLC) located in the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene is a wonderful, well-kept school located in Beavercreek, Ohio, redundant, no? Both my daughters attended preschool here and I fervently wished I kept my eldest daughter in BCLC for Kindergarten instead of letting her go to public school in the Mad River School District. 1) BCLC teachers are well-educated and have their degrees or are working towards higher degrees. Many teachers have been established for many, many years. 2) The facilities are clean, peanut-free, and video-monitored. 3) Impressive organization of facility, activities, etc; no confusion. Newsletters are distributed monthly. 4) There is curriculum! Many children are reading (it seemed like all the students in my eldest daughter's class read) by the time kindergarten rolls around. 5) In-house field "trips" for preschoolers; actual field trips for kindergarteners. 6) Parent involvement encouraged. 7) Chapel on Wednesday mornings; really enjoyed by kids. 8) Christmas Bell performance given by kids is enjoyed by parents and kids alike! 9) Tuition is comparable to all other great schools, lunch is included; preschool time from 8:30-12:30. Extended before and after care provided. 10) VERY IMPORTANT: Never closes unless Wright Patterson Air Force Base closes or for a religious holiday. In this area, all other schools close all the time. Take this into account if you work; especially on supposed "snow days."

It was a pleasure to enjoy this with Taylor and talk to her about her school. They also offered a book sale and we bought a number of books for Taylor to read. Next she walked me to her class and she gave me a gift she had made and showed me her class room. I was very pleased to see the school, to visit with a few of the teachers, to talk to some old friends and most of all, to spend precious time with Taylor. Thank you Heywood!

She made him feel confident behind the wheel and helped him pass his test on the first try. Highly recommend this school to anyone learning to drive!
