This car had initially been in both mine & my ex husbands name; I was granted sole ownership of the car in the divorce decree. I went to pick up the title & was extremely disappointed when learning that United Savings is refusing to release it to me. Their reasoning; my ex husband had taken out an additional auto loan which had a past due balance & they are using my car as collateral to his debt. My name was never anywhere on his loan & this was considered his debt in the divorce. I wish I would have known that it was pointless to pay my car off since I will never be granted the title for it. That happy "I paid off my first car" feeling is out the window after the bank I trusted in had made greedy loopholes to avoid giving it to me. I feel completely robbed. I paid this car off for no reason & no one at United Savings has offered any solutions for me & a majority of the managers I've spoken with don't even seem the least bit sympathetic to the fact that I'm now out several thousands of dollars to be left empty handed & punished for a debt that was never even mine to begin with.

My daughter travels a lot for school. Every time she has gone overseas, Bremer shuts off her card, leaving her without access to any money. Then I can't get them to give me any information, and she obviously can't call them from where she is. They've also shut off my card a few times for spending money in the cities. I mean, really. It's frustrating. The service is friendly enough and the perks to banking locally are fine. But the amount of frustration I've experienced with Bremer forced me to switch banks.
