I honestly couldn't wait as I was dealing with the loss of my son and needed help badly, I just needed someone who could help me. Here we are over six months into my therapy and so much has changed. When I originally came in I had a list of things that I felt I needed addressed, and then we finished the first target of therapy. Something happened that I wasn't expecting. So many layers of my onion brain were slowly being peeled back and unfolding. I could not have made it this far without the help of my therapist James Truesdell. He has a soft, patient tone that is so comforting and easy during your healing process. He made me feel safe every time and was always concerned about my overall well being. I've been seen there for around 4…read moremonths at the time of this writing and this was in regards to medication management. my service provider has been very helpful, extremely knowledgeable as well as clear and concise in our dealings. why the low rating? it's all in regards to billing and payment. during the initial paperwork for intake I read the whole thing through and found that it stated they'd be keeping a credit/debit card on file and would bill services immediately, without any contact or providing a receipt. I get that no one wants to be left swinging in the breeze without payment but, this has bothered me every time it's come up. I've elected to pay cash with this business and they don't seem to have an immediate problem with that but, here it comes.... when they call to say your bill come to "insert amount here" and can we please have a card number to get it taken care of. I decline and say I'll bring cash over. then I get asked, "will that be today or at your next appointment?" and followed up with I'll add a note to your account. also, my insurance tends to take a few weeks to get the bill through the system and let the provider know what they can charge. this place has collected from me before that process has been completed. all of this just seems odd to me. if it weren't for the incredible interactions with my service provider I'd be going elsewhere because of the billing.

I have had such a lovely experience at Olympia Therapy. I worked with Katrina Swenson for several…read moremonths on my anxiety problems, and she gave very pragmatic and goal-oriented advice. Her calm, understanding demeanor and approach to therapy helped me immensely, and she helped me feel very comfortable sharing personal information. Because of an insurance snafu, I ended up with a large balance owed after our sessions. Olympia Therapy was very understanding about the financial challenge this presented and did not pressure me to pay my balance off immediately. They offered me a payment plan, and did not send my account to collections after it took me many months to pay it off. When I eventually came in to make the payment, the receptionist showed genuine concern that I should continue in therapy if I felt like I still needed it. I told her that I could not afford to pay Katrina's rate with my lousy insurance and high deductible, and so she gave me options of other therapists at the practice that charged a lower rate. The people at Olympia Therapy have been nothing but kind, and with the new information, I think I will try another therapist there that charges a lower rate. I cannot recommend Olympia Therapy enough!

He formed opinions on matters before having all of the facts, did not investigate the issues properly and would not discuss issues with the other party.
