DOULA AND ENCAPSULATION REVIEW Doula Review: we hired Jenn as a doula for a hospital birth with our 3rd baby. We had hopes for the whole process to be as natural as possible. Jenn was out of this world fantastic on all fronts. She's the perfect amount of tough love when you need it and a place to melt when you need it. She truly cares about her client and their spouse and following/advocating for whatever their birth plan is. I had some unexpected things happen during birth that required us to divert from the birth plan and she was seamless at helping us navigate our options. Prior to birth, she came to our home and taught my husband some ways to relieve contraction pain and relax my body as well as ways to encourage baby into optimal position. Jenn is very educated and experienced, making it easy to feel at peace with her presence and help in decision making. After this birth, she came to our home to check on me and the baby and answer any questions we had. Jenn has become like family to us. Cannot recommend her enough! Encapsulation review I had read of the many benefits of placental encapsulation and after struggling with baby blues and slow healing my last 2 births, I reached out to Jenn with questions. She was very responsive, very through in her explanation and very easy to work with. I did test positive with GBS so she had to take an extra step in preparation of my placenta but she was very willing to do so. Being that she was at my hospital birth, she took the placenta home with her, made the capsules, baby tincture and mother tincture and hand delivered them all to my home when they were complete. After 1 capsule, 2 days in a row, my anxiety and baby blues were gone. I was back to feeling more like myself. Absolutely worth it to me! My husband even noticed a difference in me and was so thankful I got some relief mentally and emotionally. Highly recommend doing the whole package of tinctures and capsules from her! Jen was my midwife with our 2025 home birth baby. I appreciated that our prenatal appointments weren't rushed, but that she took the time to get to know me, and see how I was truly doing. She always wanted to make sure I was taking care of myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Having someone who truly cared about those things was refreshing and so helpful throughout my pregnancy! It had been 10 years since I had last had a baby, and was feeling anxious about labor and delivery. Once I was in labor, she showed up as quick as possible once labor started, and was a constant presence the entire time. One of the most beautiful moments was when she prayed over us after my son was born! Her follow up care brought a peace and comfort, something that is majorly lacking with a typical hospital birth! I truly recommend Jennifer for your next home birth. She truly cared about my health every step of the way. She kept me accountable with my supplements and always made sure I was taking care of myself. I was very anemic during my pregnancy and she never gave up on me and did her best to raise my hemoglobin levels till the very last day. Together, we figured out what I was deficient in, and I ended up having a fast, beautiful birth. I love how she encouraged and guided my husband through catching the baby. If you need anything birth related, Jen is your girl!! We love her! Highly recommend!!!
