Parent groups try to make families feel welcome. My biggest complaint is their program for kids with learning issues. There is an additional $4500 charge for a learning program, which is a testing center & the same study hall everyone else gets for free. There are so many kids in that class that need help, it is difficult to get assistance. There is little parent contact when there are academic issues. There are O accommodations, which we found out the day before school started. It is egregious to allow anyone in for $4500 and then leave them to sink or swim. As a private school with a "dedicated program" they have an opportunity to help kids with learning issues, but we were made to feel like a bother. They could really make a difference if they would put some additional measures in place & hire teachers that cared.

However, the staff does a great job utilizing the resources they have to provide a very safe and sufficient learning environment. The staff, from the principal to the teachers to the lunch staff, are all amazing. They put the children's best interests ahead of everything else. The PTSA is very active and sponsor many fun events for the entire family. The curriculum is very sufficient and the GT program allows students to excel. My daughter only has 15 kids in her class so the attention she receives is far better than many other schools (even in our district). Upgraded to 5 stars. Being a part of the Legacy family has been such a blessing to us. I can trust them with my child's heart, as well as her education, and that means the world to me. Can we rate more than 5 stars?? Updated to add, there is another review here that is blatantly false. I'm not sure the of the intent and don't really know what to say about it. One thing I can say is that there are teachers all over. Students would be hard pressed to find a place they can be without supervision. If you are considering Legacy, come see it for yourself. Pray about it and follow peace.

While he is in therapy for this, the middle school Principal continuously targed him specifically in a discriminatory fashion often sending him home in tears. He was at a retreat and treated very poorly while away with no phone calls to allow him to speak to us. I would strongly advise AGAINST sending your child there if you care for their wellbeing both physically and mentally. Our child was injured on a retreat and we were not notified. She had a growth plate fracture for 2 days and we only found out from her when we picked her up. When the school was asked about why they handled the situation the way they did, they were the most unprofessional child based organization I've ever encountered. Their policies and procedures are either nonexistent or not followed. We brought concerns about their child safety plan and they deleted it from their website! We brought concerns of violations of zero tolerance policies including one on ones between staff and students and they did nothing but remove the publicly posted policy. Additionally they played songs like Halftime by the yin Yang twins and Plain Jane by asap ferg in their spirit programs and football games which glorifies everything the Bible is teaching against. They are aware of this and continue exposing the children to the music. This school is everything I don't want my children to learn about Christianity. Never been so disappointed in a "Christian" organization.
