I've been going to Northwest steadily for the last 8 years or so now. Initially I went because my parents attended there, and after a long hiatus away from church altogether, I wanted to go back to a place that I had some familiarity with. I'll admit that at times I've considered other churches, but there's a very good reason I've continued to go to NCC. The people are very accepting, welcoming, and compassionate. The community is top-notch, and offers something for everyone, no matter where you're at in life. There's support for personal growth as you tackle the things in your life that really matter, and there's love overflowing when you take the time to interact with the people there. My wife and I are both part of the worship ministry there, and we really love our friends, family, and the opportunity to meet new people as they come and check us out. The teaching is very relevant to today's world and helps us to stay grounded in Christ as we move about our daily and weekly routines. The world is full of imperfect people, but this is a great collection of people who are willing to be honest with themselves about their successes and failures in life, and who are striving together to gain a better relationship with and understanding of Christ. What more can you ask for? If you're in or around the Bothell area, I'd make it a point to stop by and see us. We've really enjoyed it, and we think you will, too! read more
