I swear I just keep driving and praying that i don't burn up the engine and then I am in the area and don't see a line and am inclined to pull in and let the Valvoline guys work their magic. They have this process down to a science and they even have all my stats from other Valvoline stores just by scanning the magical sticker on my car. They do a nice little safety check on your lights and blinkers as an added bonus. You don't have to buy everything they are selling and recommending--So if you have a few fuzzballs on your filter you can probably still use it. I do appreciate them pulling it out and showing me what all that looks so I can make a decision to replace or not. I am usually in and out in 20 minutes and the guys working there have always been professional and super nice.

They haven't tried to sell me anything more than what my manual said (air filter and injector cleaner every 30k give or take {2012 Kia Soul}). Each time I've gone I didn't wait long, which also includes a tire rotation that was performed quickly. Overall I like this place a lot. I live in right across the river but work in Eau Claire, and I still come there to get my oil changed. Its one that comes off from the top of the car and I didnt see anyone in there. Usually they pull your air filter and try to sell you a new cabin filter. I got nothing. When he told me he was going to direct me out, he hadnt given me a receipt or a new sticker. I went back with my other car, and went into a different bay. They were training someone new and he did everything, but I did have to ask him to fill the tires. Theres a new place in town I think I will try next time.

There were a few questions I had about a couple recommended issues and Pete (who completed my inspection report) was able to clarify them with ease and honesty, so I was able to save money on not having to do that repair. It was more of a riding comfort suggestion so it wasn't a big deal since it doesn't bother me. I received a link to the reports via text and e-mail. For the estimate, you can go down the list, which included each cost, and just click "approve" if you want it done which is very convenient when you are at home. If you have questions call! Like I said above they are very easy to talk to and there was never any feel of pressure. Being pregnant during COVID is a concern but the inside was very clean including the shuttle service vehicle and I was very comfortable being there. They have a drink station there or Dunkin Donuts is next door. I also thought it was neat that they have a big picture window with bar height stools and counter that you can watch the mechanics in the shop. I don't think I've ever seen that before. After the repairs, I called around for other pricing estimates and CBA was around what others were. Some areas were less and some were slightly more. One being the fluid flushes. CBA was about $20-30 more expensive. I am a fairly frugal but I would still choose here versus saving $20 somewhere else, especially if you are getting other work done which could equal out the total price. Plus, you have the photos to prove why the repair needs to be done versus someone basically telling you to trust them.. This is now our first choice for automotive repairs.
