Icebreaker(s) was used at the start of every day to help loosen up every participant's nerves and build a cordial bond with one another. A lot of group work and scenarios are used and she is an amazing actress when it comes to re-enacting different scenarios such as heart attack, choking, bodily injuries, burns, anaphylaxis, impaled object, CPR, how to use the AED, and even childbirth. She went through every so thoroughly, step by step, explaining everything in real-time action. The class was so dynamic, interactive, engaging and hands-on. Ms. Cortis definitely brought the soul and heartfelt personal stories to make the materials we learnt in class more interesting, organic and relatable. I will definitely come back to do my recertifications/renewals here with Ms. Cortis again! They were personable, tried to make sure we all had a great time learning. I appreciated that they were detailed, used accurate (scientific) terms that we used in the field, and did not just try to give us the certification without making sure we understood the material. Because I came during the pandemic, we were not able to eat or drink inside the building, and nothing was open. Considering that it was a full-day class, we were not able to eat or drink anywhere else but the street (the sidewalk), and that was a bit ridiculous. That wasn't anyone's fault but just make sure you don't bring anything to eat or drink that you can't easily put away (Starbucks cups are a no-go, learned it the hard way).

Very clear instruction and even some great info for practical purposes that were not in the manual. Great experience and the room setup was bright, comfortable and practical. Be on time as they will not allow you to enter the class if you arrive too late as it disrupts the class and you miss out on the required hours. After paying for the course, we repeatedly contacted the school to arrange his in-car lessons. We spoke with Mike directly and made numerous attempts to resolve the issue, yet we never received the service we paid for. Instead of helping us, we were told we had missed a deadline and were refused any refund. As a parent, watching your child work so hard for something only to lose that money without receiving the lessons is heartbreaking. We have saved our messages and records of our attempts to contact the school, and they show we tried repeatedly to resolve this before asking for a refund. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this driving school. I believe families should think carefully before trusting them with their hard-earned money.
