The newer terminal is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with big windows that showcase the beautiful Montana mountain views while you wait. TSA has been friendly, quick and efficient, and lines are usually short, which makes the entire security process much less stressful than at larger airports. Getting in and out of the airport is simple - it's only a short drive from town, and wayfinding inside the building is straightforward, with baggage claim and rental cars easy to find. I also appreciate the onsite restaurant and gift shop, which provide enough food and shopping options for a regional airport without feeling overcrowded or hectic. Overall, MSO offers exactly what I want from a regional airport: friendly staff, an updated facility, quick security, and a welcoming first impression of Missoula and Montana. I actually look forward to flying in and out of here again! Thanks for memories! Hope to be back through here again!

The airport is small, but that's part of the charm--easy to navigate, quick baggage claim, and zero stress getting in and out. Staff were friendly and efficient, and I was out the door and on my way to downtown in just minutes. The views from the terminal windows are a nice touch--classic Montana beauty with mountain backdrops all around. MSO might not be a major hub, but it's clean, calm, and incredibly convenient. Within a few minutes I got an email with my flight rebooked, a hotel voucher with shuttle, food voucher plus a ride voucher from hotel to wherever I needed to go for food. All no charge, and emails sent within minutes. Plus for my trouble, $150 future flight discount! I recommend Alaska wholeheartedly. They take care of their passengers!!!

Attendants were amazing our seats were basically booths with a divider on the two in the middle which came down for people flying together. The seats recline into beds, we got pajamas, travel kits, slippers and 3 meals and unlimited snacks and beverages. It was a 16 hour flight and it was the only way to go. Five star + rating. Also you get to go into the Polaris lounge if your lay over is long enough.

Having TSA clearance is a fabulous feature. It is a process of applying having a background check…read morebeing fingerprinted and your picture taken. But having a TSA pass makes it so much easier when flying. You don't have to take your shoes off, take your phones out your laptops out. You just put your stuff on the conveyor and walk right on through, no Pat Downs ever!!
