The newer terminal is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with big windows that showcase the beautiful Montana mountain views while you wait. TSA has been friendly, quick and efficient, and lines are usually short, which makes the entire security process much less stressful than at larger airports. Getting in and out of the airport is simple - it's only a short drive from town, and wayfinding inside the building is straightforward, with baggage claim and rental cars easy to find. I also appreciate the onsite restaurant and gift shop, which provide enough food and shopping options for a regional airport without feeling overcrowded or hectic. Overall, MSO offers exactly what I want from a regional airport: friendly staff, an updated facility, quick security, and a welcoming first impression of Missoula and Montana. I actually look forward to flying in and out of here again! Thanks for memories! Hope to be back through here again!

The airport is small, but that's part of the charm--easy to navigate, quick baggage claim, and zero stress getting in and out. Staff were friendly and efficient, and I was out the door and on my way to downtown in just minutes. The views from the terminal windows are a nice touch--classic Montana beauty with mountain backdrops all around. MSO might not be a major hub, but it's clean, calm, and incredibly convenient. Great first impression for anyone visiting Missoula.

The best thing about this "travel plaza" is the Wheat Montana! They have great food (soup &…read moresandwiches) as well as a variety of baked goods (including giant cinnamon rolls). If you need a gift for anyone back home you can buy them a big bowl for their oatmeal, or a variety of Montana themed items. I'm a big fan of Wheat Montana's hot cereals and their whole grain breads. This is also a god place to get gas, and I saw a sign for a barbershop as well (didn't try that out, but it's practical). The restroom inside Wheat Montana is wheelchair accessible.

I made a reservation for this property through Expedia a few months ago…read more We tried to check in at 10:30 PM on June 19 after attending a music festival. We were informed that Expedia had canceled our reservation that day and there were no rooms. I called Expedia and they told me it was an active Reservation on their end and it was not canceled. We were told by the hotel staff that, regardless, they were completely sold out. The first associate to help us was Trey, and as his shift was ending, he handed us over to Luann. Luann was very apologetic and gave us a long list of hotels to call, and after almost 20 phone calls, every single place was sold out because of the music festival. I asked if there were any no-shows and was told that at 2:30 AM, if there was a no-show for the one room currently unoccupied, we could probably purchase it. We were exhausted after the music festival, but we went to wait in our car and at 2:30am I went in to ask about the hotel room. Luann informed me that Corina, her manager, had said that she now needed to wait until 4 AM after audit before releasing any rooms. At this point, my daughter and I just tried our best to sleep in the car in the parking lot. Needless to say, 0/10 stars. I contacted Expedia again this morning on 6/20 and received written confirmation that it was showing as an active Reservation on their end. They said there's no way that they would've called to cancel the reservation. The fact that there was still an open room at 2:30 in the morning, and they would not release it to us after their own error, is unfathomable to me. They kept pushing the blame on Expedia and as you can see, we have documentation that Expedia did not cancel this reservation. While I feel Luann was personally sympathetic, nothing translated into actions to correct this error and I would not recommend Comfort Inn based on this. As a sidenote, when we arrived and were waiting in line, we observed Trey speaking very disrespectfully to another guest on the phone who he was blaming for a glitch in their reservation. The language he used, and the tone was very disrespectful. Then when we stepped up and our reservation was canceled as well, he was not helpful.

We went inside to check in early and were told that there would be a $35 early check-in fee if we checked in right then. We have never ever been charged an early check-in fee and have been checking in "early" for years at other hotels. The room was ready, but they wanted $35 for us to occupy it for an extra hour. We felt very unwelcome. Although the room is nice, we wouldn't stay here again.

All my stuff outside was constantly moved by the park manager. All around it was a terrible stay, stayed a month. I've been to several parks all around Washington, Oregon, Montana, California and this is by far the worst. The dog park is a joke. Seemed like the rules only apply to certain people in the park. Some serious work needs done here, some it has potential to be a nice place just needs some major improvement.

But it it RIGHT ON highway 93 which is a major thoroughfare going to Kalispel and Whitefish. Cars and semi's all night long and they are within 50 feet of your rig. The park itself is being refurbished and actually doing quite a good job of it. Big level pad for the trailer and a side pad for the truck. Good electric, sewer and water. No cable but Antenna picks up a number of stations. So park is good, but location was UNBEARABLE. Worst night we have ever had. There are not many choices in Missoula, but definitely take a pass on this one. Can't put lipstick on a pig. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
