They also have a farm shop with lots of things from Olive oils, jams and jellies to hats T-shirts and lots more. They also sell fresh meats and foods. Farm to table. Over all disappointing from our previous visits. Lunch was over 100.00 for hamburgers and chicken tenders. Not the 75 th birthday lunch I had anticipated. Think I'll give it some time so they can work out the kinks.

The coffee shop is located in the back of Fireflies Gift Boutique, which is also worth a visit! You can get to the coffee shop through Fireflies or a separate entrance on the back right of the building. The restroom is located in between Fireflies and Lightnin' Bugs. The only "warning" of sorts -- one staff member was a little heavy-handed with her pumps in one our lattes, which made it a bit too sweet. They graciously helped us de-sweeten it, though!

I got Cookie Monster ice cream for the littles and a Key Lime shake for me. To be honest, the shake was not very good and pretty bland. I was not a fan. By the blue color all over their face, the littles seemed to like their scoop of Cookie Monster though. My experience here was decent. I wish I would have liked my ice cream treat though. A 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but since that is not an option, I guess it is closer to a 4 than a 3.

Strawberry fields forever!…read more I visited Elliot farms with my family to attend a birthday party for a friend of my little niece. The place is great! It's about a 20 minute drive from Macon, and offers all sorts of fun things for the kiddos... and for your inner child! The farm has horses, miniature horses (Li'l Sebastian!), cows, and goats -- they even had a brand new baby goat when we visited! You can feed the animals, play around the farm, get freshly churned strawberry ice cream, and, of course, pick your own strawberries! They have a little covered barn area where the actual birthday party took place, and the best part is that they have REAL bathrooms available for use -- cleverly disguised as old-school outhouses. They're cute. I'd highly recommend taking a trip out to Elliot Farms with the family any time. We had a great time and left with pints of strawberries to remember the trip by.

I ordered for my wife and I the 16 piece baked chicken for lunch and dinner later. The pieces of chicken were very small. The breasts were an average size. However, the chicken was very dry, to the point of being almost inedible. My wife and I couldn't finish our breast pieces due to how dry they were. I tried a wing and it might as well have been dust. I decided to take the rest to our cabin to try and rescue something for dinner, but nothing could be saved. We were on a tight schedule so I did not bother asking for a refund. The area where you sit and eat was filthy. The window ledges had mold all over them, the trash was full, tiles were filthy, and tables hadn't been wiped. See photos.
