This is the new building located in front of Grady Memorial Hospital on 80 Gilmer Street. As soon as you walk in go through the metal detector. Thank you for ensuring some safety measures. The front desk had maybe 3 receptionist. They were pleasant and asked if I needed help. They directed me to the elevators around the corner to the left. Before you reach the elevators, there is comfortable seating to rest or wait located in the lobby. I have to stress that there is seating everywhere in this facility. The lobby is huge with high ceilings. Lots of decor from the ceiling as well. After resting I took the elevators to the 6th floor. Signs direct you where to go for the particular clinical specialty you are attending. I rememeber seeing Ear, Nose and Throat, Gastrointestinal Care, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, General Surgery Center. The Eye Center was at the very end of a long corridor. Each specialty has its own front desk receptionist, seating and restroom. The receptionist asked if I was ok because I was out of breath. She checked me in and advised me transport could take me downstairs instead of walking that long distance. I appreciated the suggestion. I was called to the back and had several tests administered by two technicians, one being Makenzie. She was very gentle and answered my questions to the vest of her ability. I have to say everyone was kind. After getting my eyes dilated, the doctor said more examinations. Itbwas a good visit and I will happily return.

This is the strangest agency when applying for a job. So, they don't post salary requirements on…read moresome of their postings, and yet their application asks applicants for salary expectations. Then, within a day of applying online, their recruiter sends an email stating that your application is not being considered because your salary expectation is too high. Wouldn't it just be best for the agency to post the salaries along with their postings? That way, applicants won't waste their time filing out long applications, and their recruiters won't waste their valuable time reviewing applications sent by applicants who were asking for salaries over what the agency was willing to pay. Strangest idiotic hiring practice. Applicants have better things to do than to fill out lengthy online applications for postions that pay under the applicant's expectations. We'd much rather pass over positions that don't meet our salary needs. This is just a little advice for the agency to consider. Other than that, the agency does really good work overall.
