Last week I decided to look on Yelp to see who yelpers recommended and filled out the contact info for Dr. Miller. Literally 2 seconds later Dr. Miller himself called and we made an appointment for the following week. Impressive! Dr. Miller's office is conveniently located right of the highway and right next to Old Orchard mall for those who love to shop (a little too cold for an outdoor mall today IMO). There is plenty of parking out front and he's located on the 3rd floor. He was right on time for my appointment and appears to be a one man show right now since he's on the hunt for a new receptionist. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be slowing him down. He took care of my foot issue (turned out to be a deep callous) and I wondered what took me so long to make the appointment. While i was there he also worked on a few other callouses, since he said he'd throw them in for free :). I also inquired about custom orthotics for my flat feet. He showed me some options and said he would check with my insurance to see how much they would cover. I plan to call back in a week and go down the orthotics route with him soon too. I asked what the #1 foot issue people come to him for and he mentioned an ingrown toe nail. My son had one recently that got better on his own, but glad we have someone to turn to if we run into a similar problem. He's good at what he does, very nice and fast. I was in and out of there within 20 minutes!

His front-desk person was friendly and efficient as she had been on the phone when I made my appointment. Dr. Miller was personable, thorough and attentive to my concerns. After a detailed examination, which included an assessment of the blood flow to my feet, he not only removed the calluses but also took care of other foot problems. The positive effect of his care was immediate. I highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone in need of podiatric care.

We…read morehad gone the most conservative route to try to avoid it, but the decision was made just in time -- apparently he got to it just before the tendon was likely to have completely snapped. As it was, Dr. H performed the surgery on me as an outpatient at St. Francis in Evanston. (Full disclosure: when he came to see me before surgery, I was having a massive panic attack. The doctor was incredibly kind and gentle with me -- even when I relapsed a bit right before I went under... Thanks to him and the OR team for their understanding!) Throughout the whole process of planning, surgery, and recovery, Dr. Hussain and his staff at the Evanston office were truly supportive, organized, and so on top of everything. With a demanding, physically active job -- but a very limiting injury -- such a strong medical team stood out for me. This was a major contrast to a horrible experience I'd had with a well- regarded med/surg practice at a huge (Corporate) hospital system not long before my ankle injury. I have referred countless people to Dr. Hussain and will continue to do so (until he/his office tells me to stop, lol). I wish I had doctors and practices like this in every medical specialty.

Dr Tunnat took great care 'going over my medical history, reviewed my shoe inserts and listened attentively to my questions and reasons for my visit. He prescribed Physical therapy for which I am profoundly grateful as my mobility/ flexibility has returned in less time that I anticipated. On a side note, he has a poster in his office which, If my memory serves me right, indicates 'n the title the common reasons for ? pain, neuropathy? 'n the legs. and would you know? I found out there that lack/insufficient Vitamin D is a great contributor of leg pain . I quickly became more disciplined with my sun bathing and my intake of vitamin D when not able to.
