Dr. Alameda was very reassuring, answered all of my questions, and never pressured me to have surgery. I really appreciated that. He cared to get to know me on a personal level, encouraged me on my law school journey and always asks about my mom when I come to visit. I am now almost two weeks post op and I can confidently say that living with my bunion was much more painful than the entire surgery and post-op process. When it's time for my left foot I will be coming back to Dr. Alameda (so if you're reading this, don't retire until after that!!)

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Through the website I found out they take my insurance, just to…read moredouble check I called and they confirmed they indeed take my insurance so i booked my appointment for today. (I spoke with LUPE). Today, I get a call one hour and a half before my appointment with them telling me they don't take my insurance even though I double checked with them and that if want to go would be out of pocket. What!!! It's a total ripoff!! So now I wont be able to be checked by a doctor today but on top of it I lost a day of work because I adjusted my schedule in order to go... ALL because of their incompetence and because they are obviously trying to scam people. (As you can see by their reply, accountability ZERO! The person I talked in the phone (Lupe) said SHE made the mistake and instead of writing all the insurance information she just input "blue cross blue shield" without adding anything specific and yet still I made the appointment a week ago, sending a copy of my insurance a week ago, yet they wAited until an hour before the appointment making me lose a day of work because of their mistake??? Cash price what?? The only thing I was told was "if you still want to come it'll be out of pocket) All conversations are recorded btw, maybe realized as an owner your employees can make mistakes that can affect the client)

I came to this clinic for a couple pairs of new orthotics. They cost the typical price, about…read more$800, which was partially covered by insurance. The orthotics needed to be adjusted several times, to get them to fit properly. Each time I returned for an adjustment, each appointment within 1 month of initially receiving them, I was charged a co-pay. I felt like I was being charged to correct something that should have been guaranteed to fit. Basically, they charged me and my insurance each time to send the orthotics back to the lab to be adjusted. And each time my orthotics were sent out, they took about 2 weeks to get back to the clinic. On top of this, the clinic seems to occasionally over charge. I end up with some credits on my account, which I was never told about. They did not offer to issue a refund check. Which reminds me, it's been more than a year since my last visit and according to my health insurance they still owe me a credit. They've never contacted me about this, basically leaving it up to me to track my refund down. On a positive note, Dr Glick and Dr Tsatsos did an excellent job informing and educating me about my foot structural issues. They gave me a lot of information on how to find shoes that fit and don't exacerbate my issues.

I was impressed early on not only with their existing knowledge, but commitment to learning about "what's new" and what are "best practices" in the field. On multiple visits, Dr. Riley shared what she had recently read in a journal or learned about in a seminar. I also felt very comfortable in knowing that I was not being pressured to make decisions. I went in (after having a visit with another podiatrist) on the impression that I needed immediate bunion surgery on both feet. Dr. Riley suggested that we start out with a less invasive approach first and to always use pain as my guide for decisions. I did eventually decide to get surgery. Twice. Both feet. I am/was a long time runner and came from a family of women who had "bad feet." I was nervous, but knowing what I had come to know about Dr. Riley, felt safe. The first surgery went perfectly and I'm now, a year later, recovering from the second. All office members are kind, considerate, competent, and trustworthy. When possible, I try to support women-owned businesses. This is one of those! And I'm so glad I checked them out!

I went back and forth with the office for weeks and am incredibly frustrated with Dr. Sinclair's refusal to correct the billing code or even to answer my follow up questions. To those considering Performance Podiatry, I would not recommend this practice. I knew this was the doctor my husband needed, but the doctor didn't yet know how true that was. Importantly, the doctor listened to me. I explained that my husband is not a good patient. I mean he is not good at reporting his own condition, he's not likely to ever schedule any kind of doctor's appointment, and he's most likely to resist suggestions, especially from me. I explained all that to Dr A, asking him if he would master the situation so that my husband would see himself as having a man to man conversation. This is the type of relationship my husband will respond to, and I know he will do what the doctor says if he has this kind of one-on-one. I was blown away watching this seasoned physician (who had treated my elderly father with such expert care and sweetness) take on the role of the gentle shaman, advising my husband about taking stewardship of his own physical wellbeing, improving his ability to enjoy the latter part of his life with more relaxed mobility and in better health all around. People complain a lot about doctors who don't listen, so that's already something that sets Dr. A apart. But his agreement to take extra measures to work with a patient's particular psychology is giving "above and beyond" a new definition.
