Friend still had to go to a Periodontist specialist and pay for proper procedure to fix other dentist work. So I researched who was the best in the surrounding states Dr. Browning kept coming up. I am happy with my decision to make the drive from Lexington,KY. The professionalism, integrity and bed side manner of this practice second to none. I had issues after being numbed for the procedure due to sinus drainage but they gave me a few to calm my nerves and adjusted the chair so I didn't feel like I was drowning, and all was good. The root canal was quick, all though I can't say painless, but I didn't really expect painless. Do NOT bring your special needs kids here if it can be avoided , my daughter wasn't just giving them a hard time for fun , she was legitimately terrified & shaking . She was high on the meds they gave her which I thought was excessive to have her take 6 mg of Ativan before even arriving , then the laughing gas ! She wouldn't tilt her had back fully bc she was afraid , she was crying , and they were aware she was special needs when the appointment was made . Myself and a staff member were nicely telling her to lay her head back and she was starting to slowly do it when the Dr., who had been in the room less than 5 minutes started saying in a loud tone , very close to yelling " lay you head back !!! Lay your head back !!! Lay your head back !!!! He then was moving the mask on her face around so aggressively it was pulling her entire face back , And then he abruptly turned off all his equipment and sighed and said , " so our next option is anesthesia and insurance doesn't cover it blah blah blah " I was just standing there stunned , in shock but also looking at my child who was disoriented and upset , which I would be too if a Dr just treated me like I was just an inconvenience who was taking to to much of his time in less than 5 min !! I have never seen a doctor act like that ! He was ok at first and then he just snapped. It's worth noting also that if for any reason the surgery does not happen then you do not get the $200 back for the meds you paid cash for . My mom ended up going back there and the dr said " fine we can try it again " and by the grace of god it got done. The entire time I was in the waiting room I just kept replaying the way he teated my kid simply for being afraid . A special needs child already has so many struggles and so many bullies , you don't expect to find it in a place like this . So I spend the next few hours in his waiting room where I witnessed a lot , he had done something in our case already that had made me question if it was even legal , or at minimum , Medicaid fraud , and I wasn't going to mention that until I saw another review where another lady mentioned the same , so I know it's not just me being paranoid . This place is just a money making machine for him and I doubt he even sees these patients like people , but instead just dollar signs and the ones that are not immediately compliant are coming between him and his money and it will not be tolerated by this guy . I would never and will never put the care of my child in this guys hands ever again !

I was a bit hesitant when I saw the previous review but let me tell you, this has been the best…read moredental office we have ever been too. Yes they are busy when it comes to routine cleaning, all dental offices are. But when my husband had some tooth pain and needed to be seen ASAP, they worked him into the schedule, and took care of getting him fixed up quickly. About a month later I had a tooth that I had 2 failed root canals on from California start giving me all sorts of trouble. The team fit me in, assessed the situation, and helped me develop a treatment plan. I later developed dry socket (I am an active person and sure learned a lesson here), and was in a lot of pain. They made sure to help me through it, worked me in last minute when needed, and checked in on me frequently. I received personal texts and calls from each of the dentists to make sure I had what I needed and was healing well. You don't get that service anywhere anymore!! Now when it comes to cost, you will be hard pressed to find a dentist that doesn't require a large portion of it up front if you are paying out of pocket. But like all dental offices you have the option of care credit or other ways to finance it out to make arrangements. This is a business at the end of the day, and they have to pay their employees so they can support their families. I can tell you the office is always clean, the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming, and the dentists are down to earth and caring. You can't ask for much more.
