There are some amazing ideas in this store. If you have a renovation project, just want a change or have just moved into a house, you'll get some good ideas in here. The staff are really helpful. I took in a picture of the back room I needed blinds fitted on and they really took the time to go over designs with me. I had no idea what I wanted, but they took me around, showed me the options available to me and then let me decide. There were no pushy sales tactics which was nice to see. Once I had decided on the blinds I wanted out came the samples. They had a lot of options for me. Again I was shown everything and then given time to decide. They did offer suggestions on what they thought may fit the room, but again there was no sales push. They offer nice friendly service with a lot of options. Just be prepared to be bombarded with options. read more

Fantastic job, came in looking for curtain linings for our existing curtains and new tracks, after doing a recent renovation, Anne was so helpful and honest so I ordered then and there, Jeanette came out to do check measure and was very personable and also helpful. Installer Frank was great, work all done professionally and left no mess, nice friendly guy. They rushed our order through (being only blockouts & tracks), all installed a week later just as promised.. Highly recommend for quality, price and excellent service.. Many Thanks Anita read more

Established in 1976.

Northside Curtains and Blinds started its modest beginnings in a small factory in Adelaide South Australia by its now proprietor Jeanette Silvestri's parents Alex and Jeanette. Moving to Pooraka and their first retail and manufactuing outlet they specialised in service and high quality soft furnishing servicing all of Adelaide and surrounds. Jeanette took over the family business in 2005 and moved over to larger premises in Parafield and continues to flourish with her wonderful team of highly experienced, caring and lovely staff.
