I place order for flooring overlay - when asked concerns about lengths (very short) they assured me that most would be 1.8 mts or longer. This was not true received pack to cover 45 square mts and got 12 sheets longer than 2 mts 20 over 1.5 mts the rest are all 1.3 mts short. I have coveted genuine floorboards for many years after making the mistake of installing laminate floating floors a few years back, what a total waste of my hard earned$$$$$ that was. A couple of years ago I started researching replacing them. I went to the chain carpet places, and all the floor places on Magill Road. Most of these places recommended Engineered timber boards, but having been disappointed by laminate I wasn't so certain. True these stores had a range of solid timber, but wow was it pricey, over $200 sq m laid in some quotes. Then one day the lovely "Mr Bracegirdle" from the chocolate cafe, told me all about the floors in his shop and the contact # of his installer. This tradie highly recommended European floors. The showroom is wonderful, the range of timbers extensive and the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I picked a timber unavailable at the other stores which was extremely competitively priced, they stored it for free for 4 months, arranged reasonably priced delivery. Now this process isn't for people with OCD, I've have 60sq being laid and it will take over a week, but it's looking fantastic and will last for a very long time read more
