When we arrived at our house, there was glass ALL over the bathroom, making for a huge and dangerous mess. A worker from Pagel Glass called me previously to meet us at the house and was very prompt and professional. He explained what had happened with the glass and how it was to go about getting fixed. He organised for a fellow colleague to come and pick up the shower door frame that very same this afternoon. Although it would take a long time to get fixed, he was very apologetic and the whole process went very smoothly and quickly. As it is a rental property as well, he didn't pester us for any money and was clear about contacting our landlord for payment which was really great. Also very female friendly!

We discovered that the wood stove vent pipe (flue) and the stove itself was spewing smoke and not drafting properly. We called Hills Clean Sweep and spoke with the owner, Jason Tait. He came out and looked at the situation and gave us his opinion ... I have been doing remodeling for around 30 years and I know an honest tradesman when I see one. Jason told us that the flue was installed improperly 19 years ago (I concur) and that he could clean it, but the results would be poor. We need to have the flue replaced. Jason actually declined a job that he could have performed and charged for, and he gave us honest and valuable information as well as some good referrals for sheet metal installers. Jason communicates well, gives a small window of arrival time for your appointment, and shows up on time. He is well-equipped, careful, courteous, and a genuinely nice guy. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommended.
