J & P literally has something for everyone at a very reasonable price. Can you say part hardware store, part home decor, part household goods, and part just about everything else. They have great cabin decor such as bears, wolves and deer. All I can say if you're north of Antigo traveling by on Hwy 45 then J&P's is a great little stop to stretch the legs and have a look around. One of the region's last malls still standing, the Marshfield Mall is a small place that (unlike…read moremany of it's contemporaries) is still mostly full of stores, and still neat and clean throughout. Their last remaining anchor (following Younker's bankruptcy) is Kohl's, though there are still plenty of other chain and local businesses packed inside. If you're looking for apparel, knick-knacks, accessories, or a classic "mall" experience, this is a great place to get it!

Delivered some freight there recently. The person at the desk in the shipping/receiving department…read morewas on the phone when I went in for my paperwork; she saw me standing five feet in front of her I was the only person in that lobby, and just kept chatting on the phone for twelve more minutes. She didn't bother to say "your paperwork isn't ready yet" or "I'm just talking on the phone forever and ignoring you to be rude" or something to at least acknowledge that I was there waiting for her to do her job. So, eventually I walked out and got back in the truck, and was literally going to leave without the paperwork. As I was airing up she showed up outside my door with the papers; no "sorry", no greeting, no anything... THIS is how at least half of the places I go to in any given month treat military veterans... so, once again, America, hide the stupid flags and the empty patriotism and start actually being good to the veterans in your midst, but since this is a review of Abbyland, let me limit that advice to just Abbyland for now.
