I have had a full body massage, a full facial and a back facial completed here. Their website is great for looking up all their services, prices and hours. You must call to schedule an appointment. Once you arrive, you fill out a form about your health and skin. Then wait for your student to come and call your name. Then, the two of you will go over your health screen, allergies and concerns. They take you back to the main room. Massages are done on one side of the hallway, and esthetician services are done on the other. No matter the service you get done, you are taken to a "room" which is just divided by curtains on all sides. Everyone speaks in low volume, as to not disturb the other customers. The student will take you to your "room" and explain what will happen. Then, they leave and give you privacy to undress, as needed for the service. After the service is complete, and you redress, the student walks you back out to the lobby. You are encouraged to give them constructive feedback that will help in their education. If you don't feel comfortable telling them directly, there is a written survey you can fill out. Tips are not required, but if you do want to tip, it must be done in cash directly to the student.

The lights are still turned down low, relaxing music, etc. and I was so zoned but regardless I didn't hear any background noise etc. There weren't a whole lot of frills, but that isn't something I care about too much. The facility seemed very clean and sanitary. I had Aubree for my massage. She was very courteous and professional and listened to my concerns on needing more time on my neck/shoulders and focused more on those areas. She made sure that I was comfortable and that the pressure was good. I like a firm pressure massage and she definitely delivered. Afterwards, she was able to offer suggestions on how I can get the knots out of my shoulders, which I appreciated. You fill out an anonymous survey afterwards about your experience. The only thing I would mention, and it isn't necessarily a bad thing, is that you can't just book an appointment for any day you like. It's a school, and they have certain slots open on specific days. I lucked out and got a Saturday afternoon slot, but most I've noticed are weekday evenings or mornings. Check online, they post a calendar with available days and you sign up there. However, about 30 minutes into my massage, a couple other staff members arrived at the studio and were being ridiculously loud... They were yelling down the hall, slamming doors, the microwave. I was really disappointed by this because it was everything but peaceful.. I think the staff need to be more aware of the environment in which they work and remember that their are massages taking place even if they themselves aren't giving one at the time. As for the MASSAGE itself, Megan was great. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and I needed it badly. It was my first deep tissue and it hurt in a good way.
