I've had plantar fasciitis for years and have treated it half ass with home remedies, but it has gotten worse due to neglect. On my first visit, they took an X-ray and ultrasound of both feet. Dr. Vogel identified the problems and thoroughly explained to me what he saw so that I could get a better understanding. He recommended I try some inserts and come back in two weeks. He also offered a few other suggestions. The inserts I got from the office gave me results. My feet aren't as sore and tender after being on my feet all day. Same in the morning. He recommended custom orthotics, but wanted me to check with my insurance provider first since they aren't cheap. I like this office and feel like my feet are in the right hands. Hate that I waited so long to seek relief. The staff is friendly and there hasn't been any waiting for my appointments. The office also has a bin in the lobby to collect shoes to donate to charities.

They made a special pad for my feet to help support my feet while inserts were being made. The inserts were a life saver. Dr. Vogel knows what he is doing, he talks to you (not AT you), his staff is friendly and professional, and best of all, they have variable office hours throughout the week. There are automatic massage tables if you wish to have a mechanical massage. But if you want to really let your hair down, there are two massage therapists that can certainly work their magic on your problem areas. Will someone please tell me how I am just now finding out about this place and more importantly how in the world was I able to get along in life successfully without having the benefit of Heroh chiropractic care. I am not a big fan of going to the doctor on a regular basis, however, if you ask me what I am doing on Thursday my response will be, "do you mean before or after my appointment with Dr. Ware?" All of the staff is professional and courteous. The procedures are explained such that a lay person can easily understand the treatment. There is also plenty of advice on things to do when outside office in terms of healthy eating, exercise and appropriate lifestyle choices. In addition to noticing my personal stress levels plummeting, I also have noticed that I am more flexible and that I get a much better nights sleep. Even if you are seeing a different chiropractor, you need to drop that zero and get with Heroh!

I just happened to be on Groupon and saw a really good deal for this office. I felt confident in purchasing this for him to try, because it was such a good deal. That way if the pain continued, at least we didn't pay full price. My husband called the office this morning and made an appointment for 3pm today. He was in and out so quick that I was expecting to hear mediocre news...or that the Groupon was a fraud. Boy, was I surprised to hear about his overwhelming positive experience. Praise 1 - Upon arrival, the office was super clean and smelled clean!! Praise 2 - The staff was extremely welcoming and pleasant! Praise 3 - There was no long wait for the doctor. Praise 4 - Dr. Flynn was very down to earth and got the job done. I believe my husband has found a good Chiropractor that he is comfortable with and is very informative. I moved to Indiana from Michigan in '98 and quickly suffered sinus infection after sinus infection…read more Like, I would be on back to back courses of meds. After a few years, my doctor suggested I might have allergies so I tried to self-medicate. That worked until a disastrous trip to meet my fiance's extended family ended with me suffering an awful sinus headache from being outside so much. A few weeks later, I was off my meds and at Academy for allergy tests. Unfortunately the first round of tests didn't show much. I was disheartened until I found out that, basically, after the age of 25, we have been exposed to so much that the lower dose in the first round of testing doesn't show much. BUT, if I were to have an extreme allergy, a higher dose would have caused an unwelcome reaction. Reluctantly, I pressed on, paying out of pocket because this went towards my deductible. The second round of testing involved approximately 60 shots, applied on both arms. Thankfully the nurses kept me talking about whatever we talked about. They weren't normal shots, per se, but they did sting. Finally, I had results. I have allergic rhinitis, non-allergic rhinitis and allergies to a few types of grass and mold. After changing my meds and adding some nasal sprays didn't bring about the desired results, the nurse practitioner recommended allergy shots. Oh what a difference! I am on maintenance now (and very well could be for a few years) and, although I take claritin twice a day, use my nasal sprays and take another med, I am at least functional. I can be outside with minimal side effects. Yes, I still feel it if I am outside for a prolonged period of time, but it's an annoyance now, not debilitating. If you think you have allergies, I urge you to seek out the services of an allergist. It is a long process but it is so, so worth it to be relived of the suffering I felt for so many years! (And that includes going on a cruise while covered in arm bumps from the testing!)
