He was right--it was unnecessarily painful, and the pain only intensified in the following weeks. After seeking a second opinion from another podiatrist, I learned that Dr. Agricola had gone much too deep during the surgery. In the process, he severed a nerve, which has caused further complications that now affect my toe. I am now dealing with permanent damage and more pain than I started with.
