I moved my way up in the company over the next 3 years until they brought in Kris Rockwood as the VP of Sales. Kris comes off as very self centered and extremely concerned about her own goals. She continuously put me down and she made me resent myself and my significant other. I'm so glad I was able to move to another company who gave me a change to be myself and feel good about who I am. I'd never go back to Britten as long as Kris Rockwood is still there. She is not a leader.

He was dismissive and rude to me, an upstanding citizen. The driver is driving around in the middle of the stillness and quiet of the night, waking people up out of a deep sleep. Some of us cannot get back to sleep. My complaint to Kevin Cook involves a loud muffler that needs repair. Instead, they lumped my title in with a bunch of other titles and did some very generic, half-hearted efforts. When I contacted them to see why they didn't follow through on any of my leads, they told me my book was hard to market and no one wanted what I was selling. If that's the case, why did they take my money in the first place? Why didn't they tell me my title wasn't a good fit for their services? I asked for my money back but that was never going to happen. I would avoid them like the plague.

The press release was made from Microsoft Word - unprofessional and unpleasing to the eye, all hacked together. They promised a professional press release. What I got was an email list. They said they sent out the press release. I got one bite asking for a free copy of my book. They gave the impression that book sales would go through the roof. Just another email marketing scam.
