Northern Cal Selfies - Example of the numerous photos we took! - Photo Booth Rentals Near Me

My husband and I found Steve and Northern Cal Selfies here on Yelp, and the high ratings did not disappoint for the birthday party we held for my Mom's 70th. Steve was most attentive to the numerous emails from my wife and answered our questions promptly and stood by them. Steve helped us choose a background for our photos. Steve showed up for set-up on time, if not early, and was ready to party even when our guests were at first shy. Of course, that changed real quick, and our line was consistently long after that! Steve is the kindest-natured person you will ever meet. He was patient with our guests of all ages, abilities, and attention spans. We were provided all digital photos after the fact, which are absolute treasures. Breakdown was seamless, and we are still receiving guest raves now, a week and a half after the party ended. Book Steve, now! Do yourself a favor and don't sleep on his services. You will not regret it! - Paul and Christina Soper read more

We had Steve last night for our neighborhood block party and he was great! He came early and made sure he was ready for the event. He was very easy to work with and was a pleasure to be around. He was very prompt in all of our interactions, and I received a soft copy of all our photos the next day. I found his prices to be very reasonable, especially for the quality of service that he provides. read more

I found Northern Cal Selfies via Yelp & am so glad I did!!! Steve responded promptly through Yelp, then transitioned over to email correspondence. His pricing was extremely reasonable; his setup was innovative, simple, and modern!!! I loved the idea of a green screen & having a background of choice. We opted for the "enhanced" package and enjoyed being able to pick between a photo strip vs 4x6. Steve worked with me to figure out a custom border for the photos. He arrived early to setup and was friendly, professional. All my guests loved the "booth" & had fun. Our photos had 3 images, and best of all - no more scrambling in between photos with seconds to spare!!! Steve operated the photo screen & we didn't have to rush to pick props etc. We also had the option to email or text message the digital photo afterward, in addition to a printout! Thank you so much Steve!!! We hope to use you again for future events :) read more

Steve was an absolute amazing person to work with. He accommodated every single person at our wedding, was reasonably priced and was so patient and calm throughout the process despite ending at the wrong venue :(. I highly highly recommend Steve for weddings or any other celebrations read more

Steve was fantastic for our New Years Eve party at our independent senior living community - I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could! He was set up before our event started and brought all his own equipment, which fit perfectly in our space. With a variety of props and custom backgrounds made beforehand, booking Steve and his service gave our residents a memory they will be able to look back and smile at. Additionally, he was extremely prompt with sending over the digital files of the photos and it was a joy to look through. I highly recommend Steve, and am looking forward to the next time we get to book him for an event! read more

Best thing to have for special occasions! Steve is awesome! He really takes his work seriously. We wanted him for our wedding. He actually went to our venue to take pictures of things we would want as a backdrop for the green screen. Everybody enjoyed him. People liked him so much that the venue where we had our wedding wants to add him to their preferred vendors list. This guy knows how to make things fun and willing to go the extra mile. Definitely will call him again for our next big affair. read more

TEN STARS!!! I cannot say enough great things about Steve. Last night he provided the photobooth for our school's 8th grade graduation. The school district had a lot of requirements for him to fulfill prior to the event, and he was gracious and timely in working with them and was able to meet their guidelines for photo storage. I was really impressed with the quality of the photos and the printouts. We opted to use our own tinsel curtain as a backdrop, so we didn't try the green screen. But he brought a frame to hang our curtain, so even that part was easy. He incorporated the school colors and logo into the printout frames. Last night he arrived plenty early before the event started to set up and make sure everything was ready to go when the kids arrived. And then he manned that photo booth for 3 hours straight and had infinite patience with the sugared-up 14 year olds. They had an absolute blast. We will definitely be hiring him again for future events. read more

If I could give Northern Cal Selfies & Steve six stars, I definitely would! I found Northern Cal Selfies online, and from the start of our interaction Steve was awesome! He was professional, helpful, and responsive over email. We went with the enhanced package for three hours at our wedding in Monterey, California. Steve worked with us to create an awesome background for the green screen and photo strip design for our wedding. He to our venue early to set up -- the photo booth was such a hit! He was so kind and patient with all the guests. There were so many props for people to use, and the set up itself was quick and easy. Steve was able to change the frame and angle of the camera and tell us when the photo was about to be taken. We also got a shared album of all the photos the next day, which was awesome to have those memories and share with our guests. I would recommend Steve multiple times over! read more

Steve's service was great, he was interactive with our guests for our daughter's 18th birthday! His wonderful personality kept people going back to the booth, he made people have fun. His props were funny... His offer to text, email or send or social media was greatly appreciated. Plus, he gave us a flashdrive and cloud access too. Would highly recommend Steve and his entertaining photo booth services! read more

If you want to take your party to the next level, then enlist the services of Northern Cal Selfies. I just hosted a big event in wine country, and their Selfie Station was a huge hit with my guests. Huge thanks to Steve (the owner) for coming to my rescue after my original photo booth vendor backed out at the last second. Steve gladly picked up the ball and ran with it. He kindly accommodated my limited budget (because our event was a fundraiser); he showed up on time and with a bunch of fun props/hats/etc.; and within 30-40 minutes, he was all set up and ready to shoot. What I particularly liked about Steve's selfie station was how you could immediately send photos to your email, phone, or social media channels. Talk about instant gratification! Best of all, Steve is just a joy to work with. He's professional; he's prompt; he doesn't need to be micromanaged; he shows up on time; he does his job (and does it well); and he's friendly to everyone. What more could you ask for? I look forward to working with Steve and Northern Cal Selfies again in the near future. read more

Long overdue review, but Steve was awesome and did an amazing job with the photo booth at our wedding last year! He went through many options for how I wanted to design our photo booth strip and was prompt in answering his emails. Was slightly hesitant to book with Northern Cal Selfies as there aren't many reviews, but do not worry! Steve is legit and just as good if not better than other photo booth companies who charge a whole lot more and don't interact much with the guests. At the end of the night, we got all the pictures on a usb drive and was super happy he was one of the few vendors who didn't give us extra stress! read more

Steve did an amazing job for our wedding! His set up allows for guests to see themselves before taking the photo, as well as for hosts to choose any background they choose. We were very impressed with how prompt and flexible Steve was, as well as responsive throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends. read more

Steve is great to work with -- he is very responsive and has an easy going, pleasant demeanor. I hired him for two hours to do photos for a school auction fundraiser event. Unfortunately, a couple of factors (primarily the set up location) resulted in people not engaging as much as we hoped with the photo booth so Steve offered to stay through the entire event at no charge so people would have the opportunity for photos. Earlier in the evening his location at the venue was changed after he had nearly set up all his equipment and he handled the change so nicely and assured me it was not a problem. He went above and beyond for us and even provided a nice discount for his services because the event was a school fundraiser. We are looking forward to working with him at another school event in a few weeks and I'm already thinking of other parties coming up so that we can work with Steve again. Thanks, Steve! read more

We used them for our community party, and the everyone loved it. Steve showed up early and stayed late, and really went beyond the call of duty to make everyone happy. Steve ran the photo booth for my grandma's 90th birthday party today and I cannot recommend him and his services enough!! All of the guests commented on how nice he was and how much fun they had with the photo booth. From start to finish Steve was professional, friendly, and prompt with all communications. And if that weren't enough, his prices are so reasonable. I shopped around with a number of companies before hiring Steve and still cannot believe how reasonable his services are. If you are considering a photo booth for your party or event, do it and hire Steve. You won't regret it! read more

I cannot say enough about Steve. He is amazing to work with. He generously donated his time and business to our school auction this past weekend. He replied back to all my emails in a timely matter, his photos are great, and I love his modern photobooth. I used Northern Cal Selfies for my wedding this summer, and I highly recommend them for your wedding or special event. Steve was great! He made a custom logo/picture on the photo sheets the guests got. He used a green-screen and let me choose from thousands of background photos. He even let us use some of my own. We used a picture of the venue as one, and also had a few other pictures for the guests to choose from. He brought a ton of fun props. He hadn't been to my wedding venue before, so he took the time to visit it with me a couple weeks before the wedding! At the end of the day, he gave us a USB stick with a digital copy of all the pictures. It was great to see all my guests having fun with the props, and now I have even more fun pictures for my album. I hadn't originally planned on having a photo booth, but am really glad I did. It really added to the experience.  Steve was flexible, nice to work with, and made the whole thing fun and easy. read more
