Anyone who has been following the news lately knows that since December there has been talk of banning certain firearms. Well guess what, Northeast Firearms is gouging their customers for an extra 25% on these types of weapons. Not only that but the staff was rude and the place is a total mess. This was my first and last visit and they just lost a $1200 sale. No wonder why the place was empty. read more

Bought an expensive rifle from this store via Gunbroker.com. They listed rifle as "As New", but front sight had been switched out for a lesser quality sight. Furthermore, package was missing sight tool and locking device. Contacted seller numerous times and they were very slow responding to messages, refused to acknowledge sight was wrong, after 3 weeks sent wrong sight tool and locking device. Blamed wrong sight tool on Ruger, although sight tool was obviously wrong, he sent it to me anyhow. Had to contact Ruger for help. They sent correct sight and sight tool in first attempt. Done with seller and Gunbroker.com after that experience. read more

You know, I know that I am a hard sell, but I was pleasantly happy with these three guys at the Philly Gun Show this weekend. They didn't have the weapon that I wanted, but something very close. And they didn't pressure me into getting it. We chatted a little about some other weapons and different characteristics of them. And I ended up buying a home weapon. And I was surprised they offered it to me at a lower price. Which I thought was nice of them to offer on the first day of a GS. I was given their card and told they would be interested in locating the weapon I was interested in. As I was walking around the GS looking at other tables for a holster and ammo, other vendors asked about the weapon I purchased and the price I paid, and each mentioned that I got it at a really good price. So I have to say, I walked away with a good feeling about my purchase. read more

On Sunday I bought a rifle from Mike of Northeast Firearms at a gun show in Harrisburg with shipping arranged. He stated the rifle would ship on Tuesday with an expected delivery on Thursday. I gave him my phone number and email address and asked him to provide me with the tracking number. He said he would. I also gave him the recipient's email and phone number, who is in law enforcement. By Thursday morning I hadn't heard a word from him. When I called the store I got a voicemail. I left a message saying I wanted the tracking number. I texted his number to the recipient who got in touch with Mike, who gave him bullshit excuses. On Thursday morning the rifle still hadn't shipped. It's now Friday. I haven't received an email, a call or text from him. I paid him almost $1000 and he treats me like shit. That dude is a stupid, irresponsible douche. I would never do business with that dumbass again. He's in the business of selling firearms. He should get his thumb out of his ass and take care of business. read more

I've made purchases at Northeast a few times. The prices are better than the "chain" places are charging and the guys are always helpful. I am happy to pay a few dollars extra to deal locally - but I haven't had to at Northeast. I have had nothing but good experiences here and am giving it 4 stars, rather than 5, because the organization in the place is a bit chaotic. Regardless, it is my go to place for firearms. read more
