Went in to transfer gun today and had a problem with buyers DL so went to get fixed. Shop put sellers gun in the system to process and then when buyer could not complete the purchase the owner made the seller pay $49 transfer fee to get his own gun back!!!! Bad business! Questioned the owner and he said it is the way it is! No transfer took place so he ripped off the seller! I won't be going back to there shop for anything....and I will let everyone I know how they operated. Hope the $49 was worth the bad publicity!! read more

Price was $35 to $90 (5% to 15%) higher at Advanced Arms for a basic gun, when I checked online at local competition gun retail stores. Normally, I would check and compare prices in advance, but I didn't know which one I would purchase. Service was good, as it should be. Rating is based upon the significantly higher price on item. I called the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because I needed to have some basic gun smithing done to my firearms. I spoke with a gentleman who said there was no smithing being done due to Black Friday and weekend rush. I later called back and spoke with a woman. I asked to speak with the gentlemen I had spoken to earlier but I was met with the rudest most abrupt no. So I asked her if I could drop my guns off so that they would be in the queue when the smithing resumed. She again sad no we are too busy with the sale weekend. So now I am thinking they are so busy this must be some sale. In the age of tax less internet purchases, failing brick and mortar shops and of course the good old mom and pop shops that have always been there for you even if it cost a little more. I just had to fly over there to see these amazing sales. So I stop by. There were 6 cars in the lot and I was the only customer. The sale list was laughable. I did get to meet the rude older lady who had very little knowledge about firearms but she was discussing closing early to go watch a football game. Stay clear of here. read more

It's a nice store, everyone is good, and great guns. Clean fast and simple. What an amazing show room the amount of handguns they have is simply amazing. And all their long guns are completely beautiful, bought my A.R. 15 here and my tactical shotgun here. The prices are fair and just the selection is amazing and they have so much accessories!!!! Zero stars. Rude staff. Lies about how busy they are. Prices and especially blackfriday sales prices were laughable.

First review was when they were on main street .. but now I will not shop there... their attitudes changed since the new store .. I went there one day to sell some guns .. no big deal .. walked in with 2 pistols and said I have 2 ar-15's I would like to sell .. they say no problem bring them in .. so I go and get them bring them in .. they look at them check them out and then say we are not interested in buyng ar's at the time .. like really why would you tell me to bring them in if your not interested in buying them .. and also were not Interested in the pistols either .. Its not that they didnt buy the guns it was more about attitude .. read more

The folks here are friendly, patient & knowledgeable; The first day I went in, I had a young man with me who wanted to touch and feel some of the various items on the wall (these things in real life are a little different than in a computer game he discovered). My first time in the new shop was a great experience. The guy who helped me (apologize for forgetting his name) was extremely knowledgeable about every firearm I looked at, from pistol to rifle to carbine, and was not condescending because I had questions. When I entered the store a man was sitting in a chair chatting with another fellow who was standing in front the counter. I was really taken back on how unprofessional and uncourtesy the old guy behind the counter was. He did not acknowledge us at all when we entered or after spending $600.00 in his shop. From time to time I caught him looking at us but made me feel very uncomfortable especially that I just drove 100 miles to come see his shop to support a small local business. I am I'm the process of opening my own shop and learned alott of what not to do or how to treat my clients after my visit to this shop. Jason. the the gentleman who helped us was the complete opposite of the old guy in the front. Jason is the only reason why I rated my experience with a 3 star service level. I bought several firearms from Advanced Arms and even recomended them to perhaps a dozen people. All was well untill I bought a gun on consignment. The gun would not fire without jamming. I called and spoke Chris about what he could do to help correct the problem. He said " nothing ". When I brought up that I had bought a lot of firearms from him in the past he stated " F**k you D**k" and hung up on me. read more

Blatantly disrespected. Frequent customer, stopped in to purchase a particular firearm I knew was in stock. Upon questioning them about the firearm's construction they insisted I was wrong despite me showing them I was right and treated me as if I was a less-valuable customer. Note that this was not a small, obscure detail about the firearm and a simple field strip would have proven me correct. While usually they provide excellent service today's was so disrespectful I will never go again. read more
