This an old fashion gun store that smells like Hoppe's No.9, has an old dog that greets you if you look interesting, and has sold signs on guns that are "on layaway". I brought an old friend from out of state here to get an idea of what an old family heirloom might be worth, and the owner gave us some solid and free advice. I have found and purchased some very hard to finds primers, ammo and other items here during the Covid panic and never felt ripped off. If you like old guns of any kind, then it is worth the trip here just to browse the aisles and check out their extensive used inventory.

We email the owner and he gets back to us 4 hours later saying that all of his employees are out sick. He will email us back when they are back in. He never emailed us back. Only having a few days there in the Poconos we call back the next day and the young lady says that they do buy back guns depending on the guns but she is only there for a half an hour more and that no one was there to relieve her so we can't bring it in that day and we would have to wait until the next day to see Rich. This is the same woman that made the appointment for 1-1:30 the next day. This is a poorly run establishment that makes appointments with you and doesn't keep them, make sure to call the morning of and the 5 minutes before leaving to make sure they are there. The work ethic on these people is outrageous and I'm shocked that they are still in business, there are other great places around that actually keep there appointments.

I was told this again when I called to check over the phone--he said to bring the guns and our ID. Then when we came today there were two completely different people working there and they gave us entirely different information. The whole thing was embarrassing because we were just doing what the other employee told us to do. He was not there, so we just looked dumb. So we didn't have to go there.... I guess? Now I am not entirely sure what to believe. And if I'm getting conflicting information from employees how can I trust what other information I get from them?
