I've been coming to the Brunswick Kmart Tyre & Auto Service for over a decade now with two different VWs. I've always had great service. Despite having to try various different things and receiving conflicting advice from various experts, my car now has its air conditioning working perfectly. Matt is always so nice and friendly and kind to me. I feel well-looked after and have great confidence in the work they do here. Everything is explained well and without condescension. I definitely recommend this Kmart Tyre & Auto Service in particular. Tony has always been good to me, too.

After the service, I noticed a grinding sounds coming from my brakes. I contacted ACE and they sent a different technician out to "fix" the issue. Nothing changed, however the mechanic told me it can take a "few days" for the brakes to wear in - mind you, I know nothing about cars so took his word for it. 10 days later, the grinding sound remained so I called again. This time, they sent the original mechanic to my work to "fix" the issue. He spent approximately 30 mins with my car and advised me that he put a little grease on the brakes and he test drove it and the issue was fixed...it was for a whole day. I called again to report that the problem is still there and the receptionist was so rude, she said it is an intermittent issue when clearly the issue started after my brakes were changed as the issue was not there before. She offered for a mechanic to attend a 4th time but I declined as I have completely lost faith in this organisation and capability of its employee. Stay far away from this place, especially if you're a woman!

I took my 04 Falcon wagon in for a couple of minor electrical jobs & a replacement mirror. The minor electrics he & staff did on the spot, almost for cost. When he repllaced the electric wing mirror I dropped my car off in the morning with no notice (which meant he had to source the part). It was ready by the afternoon and within $10 of cheapest comparison quote. My little brother put his 2000 Corolla in for a major service and what turned out to be a replacement alternator - $700 for the lot incl 2 new tires, alternator and new battery. Ready within 2 days. There's a few young mechanics on staff but Mark seems to be the hands on manager. In both my brother and my case he called to advise of cost and seek permission for the work.I drive past this garage all the time and often lights on and hoists up late at night. Always lots of cars, early and late model, on site. Seems they're working hard to build a good name and repeat business Did he get the bible chapter reference inked on his forearm as a marketing move?.. too cynical? This and his honest face and manner worked on me anyway. He could probably sell me encyclopaedias..
