From the time you step into the lobby the girls are all so welcoming. Especially with these times with COVID they are taking all the necessary precautions. Dr. King starts by establishing and prioritizing a plan for me. He makes sure I understand it and explains everything to me and ALL the options that there might be. My personal case today: I was having 3 crown preps and a possible 4th crown prep. Dr. King said lets not make the decision yet, if you want let me get in there and let me see what I see and then we'll talk. I said cool, so when it was time Dr. King stopped what he was doing and explained exactly what he saw once he got in my mouth and further looked around while I was numb. He is also gentle when giving me novocaine as well, I hardly felt anything. He's just the best all around!! Dr. King is so kind, and also wants to know how my life is going, which means he's very personable with an AWESOME bedside manner. He takes as much time as I need to ask questions etc... I have a lot of questions LOL. His main goal in my eyes is to make sure I understand everything going forward and to make sure I'm always comfortable throughout my procedures. Dr. King is so GENTLE while he's in my mouth and while working on me he's constantly making sure I am comfortable along with his assistants which are all very kind and caring to me as well. Asking what TV channel I want to watch, would I like a blanket, am I still ok, they go over the bill what insurance should cover, etc... Today, Dr. King's assistant was Alaina Sarrantonio. Bottom line is: If you are afraid of the dentist or uncomfortable I will be the first to tell you just call ADS Johns Creek and make an appointment with the "Dental King". (In my eyes he's a King!!) He's got the right last name that's for sure. He is very anal that my mouth leaves there perfect, going above and beyond!! Dr. King is a perfectionist , which I love because I'm OCD and want everything perfect so I LOVE that about him as well!!!! Dr. King to boot even checked on me tonight to see how I was doing and feeling. I thought that was awesome having my dentist check up on me. I hope this helps the people trying to figure out their next dentist!! Ciao, Renee ( Hated the dentist until I started going to Atlanta Dental Spa)

Dr. Hamilton has gone out of his way to make sure my mouth is getting back to normal. All staff and this place goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I still have many more visits to go, but I am finally not scared. Thanks Atlanta Dental Spa!

They were professional, skilled, and made me feel comfortable during a very painful situation. I'm grateful for the quality of care I received on the clinical side. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I specifically chose this provider because Dr. Velez was in-network with my Medicare Advantage plan and had successfully treated me in the past. Despite confirming that I had valid coverage, I was required to pay $4,574 upfront on the day of surgery. I was in severe pain due to mandibular tori that had grown together along both sides of my lower jaw, so delaying the procedure to sort out billing or insurance issues simply wasn't an option. I paid the full amount that day out of necessity. Now, nearly five months later (as of April 24, 2026), I have still not been reimbursed the $4,546 that is owed to me. According to my insurance, my responsibility should have been approximately $30. The lack of timely reimbursement and the burden of such a large upfront payment have caused significant financial stress. While I highly commend the surgical team, the billing practices and follow-through have been unacceptable. Patients--especially those on fixed incomes--should not be placed in this kind of financial position after being assured of coverage. For this reason only, I provide a "buyer beware" at this practice. I am hoping that we will finally get some response from the billing team after much correspondence to them both from me and my insurance company so far to no avail.

He was in pain and needed the procedure, so I wasn't going to argue at the time. It has now been almost nine months, and I still don't have my money back. The insurance company made three attempts to send the office a check, which they claimed they never received. They finally received and deposited the check in June 2026, but now refuse to refund me because the account shows a balance. That balance is from a completely different date of service where the office made a billing error by submitting a tooth they had already submitted months earlier. I had to find the error myself by reviewing the EOBs and explain it to them. Now they are using their own billing mistake as a reason to withhold the money they owe me.

After an evaluation, he said I needed braces. Because he doesn't like to just fill a hole. I was 50 years old. I wanted an implant because I had a cap and was afraid of it just falling off when traveling or whenever. Anyway, that was my reasoning. So I then got braces for 2 years. Had the implant which was way off plus a veneer on the tooth next to it. Then he sent me for a root canal which I seriously don't believe I even needed. The implant after 7years was loose and fell out. I rushed to a periodontist. They sent me to a dentist office I went to for another implant crown. The screw was loose and got infected. So 25,000 later w grafting and a flipper for 2 years. I got another implant and crown. It has been awful, expensive, time consuming. My gum has receded so much the implant crown is huge. I wish I had just left my teeth alone. They looked much better before I began this process. It has been a very expensive Night Mare. Thank You very much Korb. I would post a picture of my teeth before and after but it won't let me do it here.

However, I then learned he assumed that because I was 17 years old, I broke my jaw because I was drunk and fell (not the case). When I did meet him and told him I broke my jaw by fainting, he then insisted I fainted because I was stressed with school (again, not the case). He continued to impress on me and my mother his OPINION on the cause of my accident instead of focusing on his profession of repairing the damage. He disregarded what I told him when I would describe things I noticed and felt with the movement of my jaw, to the point where he would directly state to me that I was wrong. As my treatment progressed, this same patterned of behavior continued. In the end, Dr. Korbs "treatment" resulted in my need to follow up my oral surgery with orthodontics because Dr. Korb ignored my insistence that his work was shifting my teeth. At the end of the process, my bite was not in line and I continued to have discomfort and locking with my jaw. Now, a few years later, I am finding myself in enough chronic pain that I have to re-address the poor job Dr. Korb did in aligning my jaw. In summary, Dr. Korb performed bad work and made my already traumatic experience infinitely worse with his ignorant and condescending personality. Do not go to Dr. Korb, and do NOT take your children to Dr. Korb.

I had a tooth extracted at this practice today and can say if I ever need another tooth extracted…read moreagain (hopefully not), this is where I'll be coming. My appointment was set for 1:30, but I was asked to come in an hour early to fill out paperwork and get any X-rays needed. I was met with the sweetest front office representative who made the check in process quick, while answering all my questions. It's not often you checkin for surgery and get someone warm to discuss your insurance. After fifteen minutes of paperwork I was back in the procedure room. Dr. Loetscher began with a consult, just going over my dental history and then explained exactly what he would be doing with photos and diagrams. It's surgery and yet I wasn't a bit nervous because of how thoroughly he explained everything. He noticed I needed my wisdom teeth out as well and offered to do that for me so I could get everything done in one swoop. Extremely kind knowing he probably could have had me schedule that for another time so he could go home since it was the end of the day, yet he fit me in. Right after he placed my IV himself and I was drifting off for the surgery to begin. After an hour, my driver received a call saying I was out of surgery. So quick! I waited about ten minutes for my tooth to be made and then they put it right in. No waiting six months with a giant hole. I look like myself, just now with probably the strongest tooth I'll ever have and a wee bit swollen. They sent me home with concise aftercare instructions and plenty of gauze to keep my wisdom teeth extraction site happy. I cannot say I've ever been to a medical office that's been as clean, efficient, and well run with the best nurses. Everyone was so kind and patient knowing this is something that can be daunting. Truthfully, I'm excited for my post-op check up next week because of how nice everyone was. Best dental/surgical experience I've ever had. I'll be recommending everyone to this office: family, friends and strangers. Do yourself and your teeth a favor and check out Dr. Loetscher. You will not regret it.

Their billing and insurance claim procedures are very misleading. Leading up to the day of my procedure, I was never informed what the procedure would cost. On the day of, I provided my insurance information to the receptionist who told me, "I was covered and to have a seat in the waiting room." She would later deny having told me this, but if she did not say this to me, my next logical question would have been how much is this costing me today? Instead, they waited until after the procedure was done and I was recovering from anesthesia to hand my wife a bill for $7000.00 to extract one tooth and told her that it had to be paid in full today. They would then submit my claim to my insurance company and I was responsible for following up. To no surprise, my insurance barely covered 10% of the cost. I was very surprised by this bill and certainly not prepared to pay it that morning. My wife had to scramble to find the money from various sources as I was still in the recovery area. This is not how health care service should be transacted. I should have been informed of the cost and the insurance claim process prior to my procedure. Then I could have made an informed decision regarding my finances and my health care. I believe they were not up front with the cost because it would have deterred me from getting the procedure that day or I would have at least shopped around for more affordable options. Buyer beware of this unscrupulous practice by some providers to trick you into getting expensive services and leaving the customer to deal with their insurance provider.

I admit when I first went to see you guys back in November I was a little skeptical because I had been rejected by some many others but I had some faith in you all since I was referred to you all by my insurance provider. Let me tell you something, I'm so glad I toon a leap of faith with you all! Not only was my first consultation back in November of 2016 a breeze, Dr. Jo insured me that he could get all 4 of my wisdoms teeth pulled out and best of all my insurance literally covered all of the procedure. And this procedure was every bit of $4000, I only had to pay $75 of my own money! Which was AMAZING! Fast forward, today (January 19th) I finally with got my wisdom teeth extracted! Finally! After all these years of fighting with insurance companies and doctors I finally have them pulled out. Thanks to you guys! I appreciate Dr. Jo and his staff so much for being so kind and attentive to me, they put me at easy and viola! I woke feeling like crap nonetheless but at least I can say my teeth are gone!
