With muscles more contorted than a Jack-In-A-Box-In-A-Box, I happened upon 'Feel Amazing Wellness Centre' tucked away on the first floor of a rather run down looking shopping precinct opposite Westfield in Spring Street and thought, 'Yep, 'Feel Amazing' that'll do me'. My review goes like this: Clomp - ow - clomp - ow - clomp - "just take your clothes off and hop on the bed" - clomp - ow - flump - groan - then begins an hour of the most perfectly executed intuitive, excruciating and wonderful massage of my shoulders, back and gluts (oh my the gluts) that I've ever had . Tony, the bearded wonder, worked his magic with 'Vampire Weekend' providing musical accompaniment - which was a refreshing change from the New Agey whale warbling one usually gets when massaged. I left an hour later like this...clomp - (cue angels) - clomp - (sound of angels) - clomp - (sound of angels)...I'll be clomping back very soon.

Old age! I feel it creeping in like a winter chill…read more Crocked my back playing cricket this summer, the first time that's ever happened, and it didn't go away like aches and pains normally do. I didn't know if it was skeletal or muscular, and I'd never been to either a physio or a chiro before, so I thought I'd give a chiro a crack. Adam is a nice man and very confident in his demeanour and the transformative power of chiropractive work, but I don't think it's for me. The whole spinal manipulation thing freaks me out, and I don't feel I got a good diagnosis of my problem beyond looking at an x-ray and booking me in for several appointments per week. So yeah, chiro. It's great for some people - there were a steady stream of regulars each time I went - but it ain't for me.
