** BUYERS BEWARE **North West Realty Co. - John Weeks (broker) and Anna Riling (Agent) are the worst, unethical real estate broker and agent I've ever dealt with!! After my daughter signed a purchase agreement to purchase property from this realtor, my daughter drove from Cincinnati, OH to Baldwin, MI to deliver what Anna Riling said she needed to do by bringing a $500 earnest deposit (which you don't need to execute a purchase agreement) Anna Riling flat out lied to my daughter the day she arrived with the deposit. My daughter was told that someone came in and paid cash for the property. No courtesy call from Anna, no options discussed like cash offer or land contract just here's another property next to railroad tracks for the same amount of money. Hmmm... property on the Baldwin River or property next to railroad tracks? A week later the property was still listed for sale and was never changed on the MLS as pended from the apparent "cash" deal a week ago. We called another realtor in that area to see if the property was still available for purchase and it was. My daughter put in both a pre-approved conventional loan purchase agreement and a cash pre-approved purchase agreement and John Weeks rejected them both saying someone came in over the weekend and did a land contract purchase on the property when we had a cash offer in before that. IF YOU SEE A PROPERTY LISTED BY NORTH WEST REALTORS RUN IN FACT SPRINT THE OTHER WAY. JOHN WEEKS AND ANNA RILING ARE DISHONEST PEOPLE!!! PS - There will be an ethics complaint filed to the local area realtors association governing body. Innocent people need to know about the business dealings of North West Realtors. read more

The sellers agent, Anna Riling. Was horrible, did not return phone calls, did not follow up on any issues. Very uncommunicative to the point that the door code she provided was incorrect. Items she said would be included and provided did not materialize. If it were not that we wanted this house we would have walked away from the deal she was so unprofessional. read more

I notice that they have a bad review and I'm not sure why because mine was very present. let me start off by saying thanks so much to Rochelle ( she is the one that has taken care of us) she is a very easy,polite,professional and friendly person to work with. I called the office and told her that I had found some property that they had listed on zillow I gave her the parcel # and she pulled up the info to see if it was still available and it was so I told her that I would be up there that weekend to take a look and she advised me that they also had other property as well and she would be more then glad to walk the property with us but I opted not to have her walk them because it was the weekend and that should be family time so she told me that she would leave all the info out for me and if I needed anything to just call her cellphone and she would help or come out and her word was true I had to call her a few times while I was there the first time I called I got her voicemail and I don't think I was even done leaving her a message and she was calling in on the other line and I called her a few more times as well to ask her about schools hospitals shopping u name it I called or text her about it so no trouble getting in contact with her at all witch I like see I like things to be easy me and my wife are very busy people so the easier the better for us and I have to say I don't think she could have made this experience any easier all the way down to signinging the papers for the purchase I am pleased so much I told my father about my experience and he is also in the proses of buying some land from her aswell and also passed the word onto a few friends that are planning to make some property purchases this year I don't write reviews hardly at all but look at them a lot so when I seen this negative review and the language that the other poster had made I had to write the review so 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all day long and thank u so much Rochelle for making this so easy for us read more
