I am happy to say that is absolutely not the case at vape 108! I genuinely enjoy going into the store every time i need to re-up on my nicotine now that I've been going here for a few years - truly have never had a better vape shop experience!! The shop itself is very nicely set up, with a nice fishtank, large on-screen displays of deals and new arrivals, and a few places to sit and vape (or just to test your disposable out before leaving the store - which they encourage!) They have well-lit and organized displays of a huge range of vaping options - everything from box mods, to a great variety of juices, to coils & mouthpieces, and of course, any disposable worth its salt (pun intended) will be in stock there. Not to mention that if they don't have something you're looking for, you can let them know and they are often kind enough to try to get it in stock on their next supply delivery. All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and have given me some really great recommendations over the years. Their prices are around the average for this area from what I can tell, but the service that comes with it makes it worth it! they also often have special deals, and unlike most places, their customer rewards program actually gives you decent coupons pretty frequently! They used to not take credit card under a certain amount. Now they take it for any amount. They have at least 5 doors of beers and canned mixed drinks and double that for wine. In addition to light beer they had local craft beer- MKE, Third Space, Eagle Park, Lakefront, and less local Toppling Goliath. They have soda, snacks, and some typical corner store food- cans, microwavable, etc. They have individual cans of soda if you don't like bottles. They have a lot of smoking paraphernalia as well. The cashier spot might not be obvious. It's slightly to the left when entering.

I was uncomfortable upon entry, I felt I was in a store full of drug dealers, and I'm sure I was stereotyping and yet I'm not sure I was wrong. The first man I talked to wasn't very helpful, apparently a customer of the customers as well as a worker here if you catch my drift. I was looking around not understanding what most of the different apparati did or was and another more helpful worker took me into a back room (more trepidation) and showed me a lot of maybe similar devices to the one I broke but I just couldn't be sure. When he told me the price of $100 I balked. There were no prices on anything and I suspected this was one of those places like back in Sri Lanka where lengthy bargaining and bartering was expected and they don't sell gift certificates. I decided I'd go back to my nicotine addict friend for more information and I'm still not sure what I'm going to do, but so far my experience with Puff N Up has been "A-OK," as I did like the sense of adventure and intrigue. What he offered was a discount, on yet another candle. Do better, is what you can and could have done. WTF! Why would I want to spend money on another candle, how about a #*$&#÷; REFUND? Nevertheless, I left with the same candle, which I politely left in front of the store, never to return. We don't have to spend our money with those that want our style, our culture, our artistic nature, and our fucking amazing essence.
