I mean how many hospitals can you go into and actually get shrimp for a meal? A friend took me over to visit today and after visiting we went down to the cafeteria. Everything looked so good. My friend got polenta and I got turkey tetrazzini. The food is excellent. The atmosphere and the care was great for a heart patient. They monitor him & yet get him up to walk. He is extremely pleased with the care he is kidding. He is a heart patient. Evidently I don't understand what type of care he is getting. 2 weeks ago he was in ICU and they have removed him for ICU so I take it that he is getting excellent care.

Today Monday 10/5/26 I was taking to this hospital today…read morefrom work by EMT for sharp abdominal pain. when I got there the paramedics asked to get off the carney and sit on a chair, I was 1st shocked and in a lot of pain I refuse, the para said it'll only be 5 minute, a nurse comes out with an attitude and said to me, I have two options to either sit on the chair or on the wheelchair. I had no choice but to sit in the chair and wait in pain and tears, what was supposed to be 5 minutes turned into 40 minutes waits. I was finally called to be taken to the back, only to be seated in another chair with a nurse that had none of my information from paramedics and asked the same questions that I gave the fire department and the paramedics. By now I've been in extreme pain for about 5 hours, I'm having anxiety and I'm type one diabetic. She leaves, the provider comes in, same thing same questions that I just gave the nurse 2 minutes before. I'm now irritated and upset and want to leave. When she saw that I was upset she said she didn't know anything about why I was there and she can leave and come back when I calm down! repeated myself again. She left the room. I discharged myself without having to wait another god knows how long for treatment. Very disappointed with the service and treatment. I will never be going to any Honor Healt.

Banner Boswell Medical Center - Terrible staff- inattentive, more focused on protocols and checklists and chatting it up than caring for the patient.

Had blood work x-rays, and CT scans done in a very timely manner. Once submitted to the hospital, the nursing staff and doctors were outstanding. Always available to answer questions and address concerns. Hospital staff was very helpful.

Nurses are the ADVOCATES, eyes and ears and hands on to help heal patients and inform physicians... family and friends are also advocates for their family member as we know their history BEST! Read it ask questions and learn your patient! Several day ICU nurses 1B and a day House supervisor gets a 1/10 as there is no kindness, no sympathy, disrespectful, terrible terrible rude communicators, condescending, no empathy, no hands on and no talking to the patient or family whatsoever! Leaving a patient without a sheet or blanket and body temp 36.7-36.9 ... can understand with a fever but!?!? Rooms are cold...being told oh he can't feel the cold! Really? Family and friends their Perception is one's reality! I know that was taught in nursing classes! Put a sheet or blanket over patient unless a valid reason Not to! The Same Day nurse Never came into the room hours 11-5 to evaluate or speak to the patient or speak to family or friends on separate day shifts! Kept saying she is busy she is busy!...We were shocked seeing RN literally telling their charge RN saying she has been in the room all day and was there 10 min out of 6 hours, at the doorway! Having others step in room or just ignoring the patient & family most of the day shift is this her go to? Talking to family and patient friends like they are idiots is a reflection of her low self esteem and lack of knowledge and wisdom! What about the nurse talking to the patient who is HOH and on a vent From the doorway about if they have pain...to avoid a gown and gloves! or nurses who do not pass any messages or questions on to the physicians during AM rounds or that family is there and been waiting or have called Doctor back! The ICU RN staff, primarily days needs some more education and personal lessons to learn SYMPATHY AND EMPATHY for patient and family Or Leave the nursing field! My dogs get better care than Boswell ICU B! Yes, We see and listen to the rude, condescending nurses, watching the computer only, while sitting 25 feet away and just ignoring actual in room or eyeballing the patient ...that is more than one day shift RN on 1B. Also a Days House supervisor needs some education in conflict resolution and solutions not Defense of her staff and treating family like we are making the scenario up! That's an epic failure as a days house supervisor! Need more experience or education! BTW Eliquis is not the same as Heparin Look it up nurses!!! The stand out, amazing 1B 10/10 RN s ... well their co workers know who they are and so do we! Your passion and knowledge and caring is what all staff should act like! You hold a PROFESSIONAL RN LICENSE! Act it!

Banner Boswell Medical Center - Empty room- no seating for us! They also had a lady soliciting for research purposes on the patient floor! That's pathetic.
