Then I met my husband who was in the military and was swept away to a new state. I didn't want to sell my beloved home. So we talked about renting and heard advertisements for renters warehouse on the radio and decided to give it a shot. It was GREAT! So easy! The person that came by looked at the home, assessed it, took pictures, put it online and in less than a month I had tenants! If anything goes wrong with my property Renters Warehouse informs me right away of the issue, they give me the option to use my own vendor if I'd like (which I don't, I just use whomever they recommend and so far have had great success) and it is fixed in no later than a week! My HOA is constantly having me power wash the home area, or re-paint the door, or fix this and that and renters warehouse has it done, with pictures to show, in under two weeks! Way more than enough time to send the images off to the HOA before I get a second nastygram from them, haha. Renters warehouse is beyond reasonably priced for the peace of mind they give me in maintaining my property. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone renting in Virginia!!

I recently had to renew my lease…read moreagreement, and of course they charged me a $200 "agreement fee" for what appears to be nothing more than changing the dates from last year's contract. In my opinion, this feels like the equivalent of strong-arm robbery. What makes this even more frustrating is that the previous property management company never charged fees like this. If the property owner decided to switch management companies, why should tenants suddenly be forced to absorb additional costs that never existed before? I did not choose to change property managers, yet I'm expected to pay extra simply because they took over. Charging tenants hundreds of dollars for minimal administrative changes feels excessive, unfair, and completely unnecessary. A lease renewal should not come with a costly fee when the agreement is essentially the same as the previous year with only updated dates and terms. I'll post a copy of all these the fees they charge and you not believe it!!! Renters Warehouse is nothing more than fast food property management. If you cross a piece of property and this company is managing it stay away from them!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever. We hired the Military Relocation Team to…read moremanage our property back in 2016 and the initial years of service were quite reasonable. Communication was noted to be suboptimal but seemingly acceptable in 2020. This included delayed responses and lack of follow through with requests on updates on the property and its maintenance. In 2024 we were notified by an uninvolved party that the house had serious maintenance issues. Efforts were made to reach out to HRMRT, Coastal Property Management LLC, and the owner Barbara Sgueglia via the owner portal and telephone and we received no reply to multiple messages for weeks. Given the concern for the property, we reach out for the first time to the current tenants to discover that despite the tenant posting notification on the portal (as directed) the heating unit had been left unrepaired by HRMRT through the winter, leaving a family including a young child without heat. Also, a pipe had burst months before and HRMRT did send a plumber to fix it but did not follow through with recommended maintenance. The property then sustained tens of thousands of dollars in water damage and mold growth, which left the house uninhabitable and is still being repaired. The tenant was restricted against reaching out to the owner as per stipulations in the lease, so without the engagement of the property management team there was no directed pathway to discover this damage. They responded within the day when notified via portal that they were fired but have yet to reply to the maintenance requests from the tenant or the owner. In short, this military servicemember found their service to be entirely unacceptable and their negligence led to poor conditions for the tenant as well as substantial damage to the house. I gave them 1 star only because this website will not allow submissions with 0 stars.

My son is active duty military had orders to move from Fl to VA short time frame. We live close by and found what we thought the. Cutest looking rental on the outside. Well this Property team I should say Barbara Squeglia what a nightmare! My kids are afraid to report her, I'm doing this since they've had no air no over 3wks I had to buy them 2 portal units which inside thermo still reads 93 degree. They pay over $2200 represent the military just to be told they're privileged and entitled in their behavior. I'm going to on my own be a voice since they're afraid to be heard!!!!
