The Mission Mountains were exactly what we hoped to see and Joe got us very close to the mountains. The flight over Flathead Lake was a bonus. Joe is very knowledgeable about the area and if we knew small scenic flights were as affordable as Joe's, we would have scheduled at the start of our trip. On the plane, we had my husband, 6'-1" and 6'-0", 17 year old son. We all fit in comfortably and loved our flight. If we ever come back out, we would definitely fly with Joe again!

From the minute we walked into his hanger he was friendly and welcoming. The flight around Mission Valley was beautiful. His knowledge of the area really showed with the tour he provided via headsets throughout the flight. We got 15,000 years of history! He even made recommendations for dinner and pointed out where the places were while we flew by. I have to recommend a flight with Joe to anyone visiting the area. It's something you really really have to do because it gives you such an amazing point of view on the area that you would never get otherwise

I have been a customer of The Bitterroot School of Cosmetology for six and a half years. During my…read morelife I've had my hair cut at numerous cosmetology schools as well as salons. I have had nothing but a great experience at the BSC. The girls are professional and have excellent supervision with the instructors who are most personable. Recently, I took my daughter and three granddaughters to have hair cuts there as well as having mine cut. My daughter lives in Southern California and is used to paying $55. for her cut. All of the girls were extremely pleased with the cuts they got and as I was pleased with mine. While I can truthfully say, my cuts have been as good as any I've had at salons, I hire the girls knowing I am going to a school and understanding it is not the same as a salon and for heaven sake, the price is incredibly low. I can give the Bitterroot School of Cosmetology a five star rating without hesitation. It is regrettable the other review of a one star due to a manicure can so influence an internet rating. It's too bad more satified customers of which I believe there are many, don't counterbalance a one star review.

While I was the only customer in the joint, an hour into the appointment an instructor had yet to check in on the student's progress. She'd spend 20 minutes massaging my hands, even while I had expressed indifference to the massage altogether. She filed incorrectly, and failed to push back my cuticles, and then painted over the cuticles. I realized after the first coat of paint that I could no longer tolerate the mindless babbling of the student -- Who asked me how old I was Who does not like beer or country music (she told me so) And her favorite color is pink. The student had been attending school since July. But had no concept of the proper steps of a manicure, or basic customer service skills. Giving her the benefit of a doubt, I spoke with the instructor, who then deferred to the owner's daughter. At this point I was called into the instructor's office (I told them that this manicure was clearly inadequate and really just wanted my money back.) I related my frustration over the whole appointment- (I could have done THIS at home- I said) The owner's daughter wanted me to know that the students do quality work and that the student who waited on me was "different", and in defending her school and her position cut me off repeatedly while I was attempting to discuss my frustration. It was at this point that I realized that this poor 18 year old girl had a terrible role model at this school- the owner's daughter who did not recognize the student's failure as her own failure- and that anyone with a willingness to learn can be taught. But this woman doesn't care enough for her students to provide them with sufficient tools to provide a simple stress free manicure to a client. I am giving BCS one star because of gross incompetence, that affected me for 1 1/2 hours of my day off, that will affect these students for the duration of their professional careers, and will affect other unsuspecting customers, and because my valid complaint was met with argument.
