Love coming here and knowing Im doing something healthy for my body! They offer a variety of classes for adults teens and kids. And of course child care for the little ones. They have an awesome pool with classes or open swim. And I've noticed every September they drain the pool and get a good cleaning. The towel service when you check in is so nice you honestly take it for granted. They have really new equipment for cardio machines so smooth on my joints as opposed to other gyms where you can definitely feel I did 30 minutes of cardio. Here I can be on it for an hour and no pain on my joints. They offer a variety of different cardio classes and you can walk outside on the trails. BUT I did notice it was extremely hot in the cardio area even with the fan on! I think the hardest for me is trying to find a parking spot if you come at peak times you literally have to wait there's nowhere to park. My kids definitely enjoyed coming here for a variety of different classes all the staff members are very friendly with them and feel welcome! Happy two found a gym like this. I love that it's very family friendly By the way take a picture of your member card on your phone and use it to scan in

In these interesting times I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at the north Spokane YMCA and wish you and your family health. Stay well I miss your smile faces and your warm greetings every day. I have the home gym and road bike up and running not the same, but it will keep me in shape until we can get back together. Fitness for life. Be well.. charter member #Stayinshape

Really nice spot. Not much to say, just that this YMCA is always a nice place to go, especially in winter!

Clean, spacious facility with mostly functional weight room equipment. Guest passes were priced quite well. Overall no complaints.

When I cancelled my membership, there were no questions asked and the reason the staff member put…read moredown for cancellation was "Not Using". This is pretty much typical for the gym where the staff is generally generally checked out. I use the gym regularly btw, but I plan to move to the Y. The gym has a lot of outdated and broken equipment and they seem to just get by repairing some things when others break. Treadmill, elliptical, strength training machines. The reason I left was that I got tired of the aquatics being unavailable. The steam room was down for close to 6 months. The pool has been without heat for at least a month now and the spa is hit or miss as to whether it is working. Is it possible that they are cutting costs by turning off certain things that need heat to save money? Just a cynical guess. Even the drinking fountains don't put out cold water, only tepid. (By the way, it would be so nice to have bottle fill stations) There are many cleanliness issues that seem to come and go, showers and pool area come to mind. At least with the pool so cold there is a better ratio of water to hair since people aren't using it as much. I really wanted to share this with management, but I guess the staff forced me to come here to leave my thoughts.

Unfortunately since attending as an adult I have been SO FRUSTRATED with the gym. When I initially signed up I made it clear I wanted the family membership specifically for the outdoor pool because we have 3 kids. They got me signed up on a year contract and everything seemed fine. I went to the gym to workout and use the jacuzzi and found out then that there was no more jacuzzi AND the women's locker room one was still not fixed! I was pissed but moved on and didn't say anything. Summer comes and I had asked the front desk when the outdoor pool opens and they kept telling me "sometime in June"....end of June came and I asked again, now being told the outdoor pool is being fixed so it was closed for the summer!! (It's still closed by the way) THE WHOLE REASON I AM PAYING FOR A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP WAS FOR THE POOL!! So I asked if I could just switch to a single membership because my kids can't use ANY of the other amenities ( even though there aren't any). The indoor pool is barely ever available for open swim, so why would I have a family membership if they aren't even family friendly! They told me that wasn't possible. So I have had to continue paying a family fee even though I am the only one able to access anything. THEN, I moved to the Central Park location and it's the same there!! The indoor pool is NEVER available!! I just took my kids in today because the pool hours are Wednesdays 4-7.. CLOSED!!!! I am beyond annoyed with how they keep there gym! All of the "amenities " that they offer online aren't actually available AND they keep raising the prices!! I will NOT be renewing my membership once my year is up. This used to be the best gym in Spokane.

Apparently when new ownership took over they changed the contracts to state they can raise the price any time. In addition to this, they also removed 2 tennis courts. I agreed to pay $105 a month to have access to 4 tennis courts. They reduced the value I was receiving and raised my price. $155 was not in my budget and I expressed this to them. They did not care. After I canceled they charged me again. I wasn't going to write a review but after receiving a collection bill in the mail, I feel I must let people know that this IS NOT A PLACE YOU SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH. :) Have a good day. Oh also, their sauna is disgusting like they haven't cleaned it in 15 years...lol Pool is closed often.

I have…read moredone Lagree for over a decade and was so sad to learn there weren't any studios in Spokane when moved here 3 years ago. I just tried my first class at MDRNfitness and LOVED it. Feels so good to be back in the studio again! Lagree is one of the hardest strength training work outs you can do while at the same time it's very forgiving on the joints. You'll raise your heart rate, sweat, and shake while moving as slowly as possible under constant tension. You'll see visible changes in your body from doing this work out. Don't be intimidated by the amazing brand new megaformers in the studio. Amber the owner and lead instructor was great at helping new clients become familiar with the equipment and how to use it. She also helped critique my form while doing the exercises. There is always a way to modify to make things less or more challenging depending on what you are looking for. Thank you Amber!!!!!!!

As a registered nurse, she understands the significance of proper workout techniques. Having not worked out in years, I was unsure if this would be the right place for me. But soon enough, I started feeling the difference in my strength, balance, and flexibility. We have been going to MDRNfitness for over a year now and we love it. I cannot praise Amber and all of the instructors enough. They acknowledge and celebrate every milestone we achieve and there's so much encouragement from everyone, from the teachers to the other people who work out there. It feels like a family and everyone is welcomed and encouraged. The workouts are only 45 minutes long, and they seem to fly by. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun, and I always feel like I'm working out with family and friends. Everyone is so friendly and makes it fun to work out. starting as early as 5:15 am and going as late as 5:30 pm, which makes it easy to fit into my schedule. I don't usually write reviews, but I've been recommending MDRNfitness to friends, and since I often check reviews, I decided that I would write one. If you get a chance, try it out - the first class is free!
