I told them that price was exorbitant and would not return. PS, I had my denture repaired elsewhere for 50 percent less. Never experienced anything like this before.

First of all,…read morethe calming atmosphere is what I needed after having some inexperienced and bad work done in the past at another dentist. The warm family environment makes you feel like you're at home and automatically you're put at ease. The staff is kind, warm, extremely patient/loving and has a good sense of humor. The best part of my Mint experience was that Grace fixed my bad dental work with patience and *grace* and she hooked me up where insurance fell short. She took a major discount just to put me first and I've never experienced that at a dentist before. This is a real family dentist where you as a customer are also family. Grace also did an unbelievable job on my filling and my cleaning. She knew exactly what I needed and I honestly never felt better after months of pain. I truly couldn't have asked for a better dentist and feel lucky to have found Mint. They've consistently done amazing work now and I will never go to any other dentist again because at mint you're in good hands and you are home. Thank you so much to the entire staff here who always make it a good experience much, much appreciated.

She ordered me a custom night guard and I am completely satisfied with how it came out. I'm not clenching or grinding at night and my teeth are staying in place. I went in to have the female short haired blond dentist check a crown that has been feeling sensitive when I bite down on it. I was seated in a room quickly but then had to wait forever until she finally came in the room. I told her what I was there for she and said I needed new X-rays, so they did that and I was sitting there waiting again. Finally she came back and just started filing down my crown to adjust it. I literally pushed their hands away because I was in pain and had tears rolling down my face. She then asked if I wanted her to numb it, which I thought would've been obvious from the beginning, I said yes so she gave me that and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to take effect. 10 minutes passed and I had to ask how much longer she would be. I was told she was coming. She didn't come for another 10 minutes. When she finally walked by and heard me asking again when she was coming. She stood at the door and said "what's the problem?" That set me off and I complained about her having me wait so long and just walking back and forth and I asked her why she didn't numb me in the first place knowing my tooth was hurting and she said that it wasn't obvious to her that she would have to. The dental assistant also chimed in to say that she wasn't just walking around. After they finished and I left I made sure to tell the front desk to make a note that I didn't want either one of them working on me again.

I called for a regular check up/cleaning and they asked if anything was wrong so of course I added that my gum was causing discomfort. When I arrived I found out they were seeing me for an EMERGENCY visit not a check up or cleaning. They attributed my issue to eating "harsh" foods like "granola" (which I never eat fyi) and told me to book a follow up for a check up/cleaning. So I did! Then I arrived and found out I needed to book the cleaning separately! I asked if I could possibly do it that day since it was my only day off and they said fine. So we do the scans/X-rays etc. They do the cleaning... cool. I ask what the exam/X-rays said and they said we had to book a separate in office meeting to discuss treatment. WTF? And then would have to book consecutive appointments after that to follow up with treatments. I have never experienced a more obvious money grab in my entire life. On top of that, I had disclosed my anxiety about the dentist given that I had gotten my first cold sore due to my pediatric dentist not properly cleaning their tools (dentist offices are breeding grounds for viruses) well, guess who got another cold sore directly after visiting THIS dentists office as well? It really makes you question just how sterile their tools are and how much force they're applying when examining your mouth. Not only that but they send multiple letters in the mail when you don't follow up appointments practically harassing you about the harsh reality gum disease and tooth decay. No short and sweet "hey we miss you!" mailer card like other offices. A full on letter that looks like a bill and that is stamped with an urgent message (it's literally just the two doctors asking you to come spend a ton of money at the office) This office is exorbitantly expensive, takes way too long to get a single answer to the simple question that is "how do my teeth look". Something that can easily be 2 visits is now 5+ visits. That saying about seeing your dentist at least 1-2x a year? Make that 10 times if you choose this office. And seriously, who has the time for that?
